Meet Brandon Dugan | Wedding Officiant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Dugan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success with my brand is my family. From my mother to my wife and my daughters. They have all given an opinion or actually helped during the whole process. My wife and I actually own and it she does most of my social media which helps a lot to get the brand out there. I could not do it without her!
What should our readers know about your business?
I believe what sets me apart from others is, I try to make sure I treat all of my potential clients as family. I love to hear their stories of how they first met and what events that happens that led them to getting married. I’m most proud of the fact people actually see my profile and they choose me out of all the officiants in the area. I cannot help but feel special! I got to be here today, by failing first, I wanted to be a home inspector and God did not have that in the cards for me, he did a pivot and it wasn’t easy because I’m not a quitter, but after my first wedding, I knew this is what I wanted to do! It wasn’t easy to over come but my clients are perfect to me. Once, I started to book more clients and saw they all had something in common which was great vibes and a loving spirit. It made me feel like God had me at the right place at the right time. I would love the world to know my brand just like my story is all about making their day the most special it can be. I want everyone to know I lead with love and compassion. I put my best foot forward to every client, no matter big or small weddings!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My best places in the city I’m from is Pangea. ! I would definitely take them there for brunch because the drinks, food, and most importantly the music is really good. Some of the most exciting people, places, and things to check out is anywhere in Uptown, it is really beautiful and it is all walks of life that are in that area. It is a great blend of people. Great food places and bars.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this to all the women in my family. From my mom team which is my mom and my mother in law(which I hate to call her that. She is my mom too) My daughters are my inspirations for sure. Also my Auntie Mary Benjamin who is my Aunt but she has been a mom to me here as well and she deserves recognition as well. Last but most importantly my wife. She is the breadwinner in our family and it helps me to be able to do something I love rather than doing something everyday that I hate. One day my dream is to retire her!
