We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandie Marie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to be able to provide to women a service that would make them feel good about themself. Having been getting lash extensions myself for years i found that the quality was low, retention was bad and at a price that was high. So my strategy to would provide quality service with great retention and at an affordable price so that every woman could afford should they want too.
I did not think this was going to be a business, just a hobby which I enjoyed and would undertake in my spare time. Little did on know then, 6 years ago, that I would have a career and “go to work” every day doing what i love.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a client, myself, that gets lash extensions , I strive to give all clients the exact experience I want to have. From the moment a client walks in to the moment they leave I want my studio to feel like a secondary home. I strive to be the most dedicated, understanding & motivated to individual to help keep my clients coming back. I took my love for lashing and turned it into an business to share with others. In order to overcome any adversity I kept my eye on the end goal — being able to share my passion and drive to help others feel beautiful. It has not been easy to become the professional that I am today but I hold myself accountable day in and day out to achieve my goals. It’s never been an option!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Great question! Having fun is something i excel in but is also a cherished time because it rarely happens. I had a great friend once help me put together an about me and here is insert of what she wrote:

“! I love working out 💪🏻 , being healthy and living the most non-toxic, holistic 🌿life i can. However, my inner self cant help but love her some street tacos 🌮 , a nice cold miller lite 🍺 and lashes that will have every head turning!!!”

So when you ask me how i would show a friend the best time ever, it would stArt off with packing our bags to head to the Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas!! We would book a hotel room right on Exchange Avenue putting is dead center in all the action.

We would go for runs to get our workout in, running up and down all streets of downtown Fort Worth. Come back to shower and roam around all of the stockyards, but please don’t be fooled! We will not be walking around!! Have you ever seen a electric bicycle? Yes!! Thats what we will be riding around as we explore.

Just as evening hits, you could find us getting in a little nap before walk down to see the rodeo and go out for a night of dancing.

I would make sure to show her a night full of all Texas things that she would never forget!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people that mentored, pushed and inspired me along the way and l the amount of support i receive from my clients is something i never even dreamed to be reality. But this shout out goes to my TWO number one fan, my amazing husband and daughter. My husband sees the treasure inside me and helps me manifest my dreams. He is by my side when things are rough and his encouragement helps me to remember who I am. They both are patient and understanding when i work days and hours on end; and there to assist with anything they can when it comes to the business!
