We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandi Burns and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandi, how do you think about risk?
If your not taking a Risk, then your not doing it right? Every big decision is a risk but at the same time an opportunity as well. Even going alone driving for hours trusting a new gig or Event or photoshoot I had to build up the courage and take that risk. It builds character & I became more & more confident over time. I can’t count the risks but they all were worth taking 💯 Even the bad ones I learned something and how to make better for my future choices.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I would Never say it’s been easy, it’s a challenge & always more to Over come or learn. I Had to Over come & go through the Motions between Photoshoots, Events, Experiences. I’ve been A Model since 2010, Promoter/Agencies since I was 18 but became a mother before I Turned 21. Continued Modeling after here in Texas in 2013. Started my first website & T-shirt’s by 2015, Also a Livestreamer/Broadcaster since 2018. I Enjoy learning how to Handle talking to all kinds of people or Crowds, building my modeling portfolios & Experience as I go. Each event I would live stream, or each shoot, random things I did as a mom with my kids. Building a fan base & also seeing the Love & Support. Sometimes dealing with judgment of being a mom who models or streams, works with the Music industry, who does events for work. There’s always gonna be judgment Like I should of picked a better career or Spend more time doing this & that, but I do what I love & what makes me Happy. I Enjoy it & Make it happen any chance I get.  I see the success in others not just myself & Enjoy helping others make their Big Moment on stage, the runway, or Performances happen. Even help them open up for Artists they’ve looked up to. I’m a 24/7 Mom of 2, But I’m still Me, with a successful Career now as a Celeb Promoter & Model.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take them to Some of the Best clubs/Or luxury’ clubs/Venues I know. Show them the Nightlife of DFW. I have worked with Club Flirt, The Dive on 75, Club945, Trees Venue, Royal Lanes studios. Then for eating or dining Salt grass Steak house, what a burger & Jack in the box. East coast doesn’t have that stuff so things that Texas has I know I had to try when I came here. If it was an Expensive trip Id go up to the Dallas Reunion Tower for An amazing experience. Then the DFW Square, the water fountains & downtown to the country side of things, billy bobs & the stock yards. I also have some Lake Options I’d probably take them too if possible. There’s so much here & so far those who’ve came have Loved this City!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly My father has been behind me always congratulating me, telling me he’s proud, even though I wasn’t raised by him. Every magazine, calendar, interview he’s always proud & shows me off to his Company & family.  He understands the industry & owning a business. Dallas has been HUGE part in my success & moving up, many photographers, artists, Models & fans watched my Up coming, my Fall through a divorce & Rebuilding myself since 2019. So I really owe it to my fans as well, even loosing accounts and starting Over loosing all my photos & pages, they came around & supported on social media to see my growth Success.
