Meet Brache’laun Womack | Private Driver, Owner of Ride Luxe DFW

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brache’laun Womack and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brache’laun, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I believe discipline has helped me to succeed. As an entrepreneur, you have the freedom to work whenever you want but at the same time you have to have the discipline to be able make time for your business and stay on schedule week in and week out. Each business is different but for my business, for example, I get up at 3am-4am every weekday to start at 4am-5am to be available for clients that need to go to the airport, or have early business meetings to attend. Just starting early to be available for clients puts me ahead of others but it takes discipline to be able to consistently accomplish that. Discipline has been a huge factor in the success of my business.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a private black car driver that works with clients who want a more elevated travel experience. What sets me apart from others is that I run a social media page that post about events and things to do in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. That in turn brings exposure to my business and I’m able to book more clients. My goal is to transport my clients to where they need to go in a safe and efficient manner. I am proud that I have been able to make it this far working for myself. It’s been six years and counting that I have called my own shots and still to this day I can’t believe that asking my mother to borrow her Camaro to do Uber Eats would set a chain in motion to have my own private chauffeur service. It was not easy though. A college student in his early 20s making money on his own without a need for a boss came with many challenges; from understanding expenses and maintenance, to knowing when and where to be to attract clients. Overcoming those challenges had to take trial and error and leaning on the guidance of my support system as well. What I want to say to anyone reading this is once you figure out how to make money on your own, there’s no going back. Continue to keep pushing yourself and figure out the solutions that you need to make your business successful. Do not give up on yourself even when it seems like it will fail because you only fail if you give up!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s so many thing to do in Dallas and Fort Worth! If my friend and I had a week to hit the town, we’d first do a stay at one of the hotels in Downtown, Uptown or the Design District. We would start our morning with a workout class, walk on the Katy Trail or run at White Rock Lake. Afterwards, we’d get coffee or go have brunch in Knox or Uptown. One day we’d do BBQ or Tex Mex for lunch and then go shop at Northpark mall or Highland Park Village. On another day we’d go to Frisco and The Colony to hang out over by The Star, and Grandscape. We’d absolutely stop by at Klyde Warren Park for the food trucks, and events or, going to a sporting event for the Mavs, Stars, Rangers and Cowboys is always fun in Dallas. Also going to Rockwall Lake to fish, Jet-ski, or evening boat ride is also a vibe. For the nightlife, we could do Deep Ellum for the clubs and lounges or Lower Greenville for a more bar hopping experience. Henderson is also fun to go drinking and watching games Finally, we’d definitely spend a day in Fort Worth to buy cowboy boots and hats, go see a rodeo and the cattle drive that happens everyday at the Stockyards. Again, there’s plenty to do in Dallas-Fort Worth just have to be open to explore your options!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The biggest support has been my dad. He’s helped me stay encouraged during my pitfalls along the way. Also, my uncle Bill has helped me through many challenges as well, I can always count on him to share his knowledge on business and finance. Without them in my life, I would not have the courage and wisdom to be able to navigate through my journey of entrepreneurship.
