I never let fear get in my way, I won’t ever let fear get in my way!
My business is built on the lack of fright! From me driving around seeing someone with Locs and literally stopping just to ask if they had a Loctician, to me participating in hair shows! I took my first risk in 2021 when I put my all into Locs, quit my job, went full-time time and haven’t looked back since! I must say it seems like my resilience against fear worked in my favor!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m the SHIT! I’ll always be set apart from others because that’s the model of my life. I got here from hard work and resilience. In general life Is hard and any entrepreneur knows how hard running a successful business can be. I’ve only became successful because I’ve always believed in myself. Through the doubts, through the challenges, through the struggle. As long as you remember YOUR THE SHIT! Everything will go your way!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My fave spot in the city currently is any taco place with good customer service, good food, and good vibes! I can’t pick one as much as I want! As a St.Louis Native, coming to Texas and discovering street tacos has literally been one of the best experiences and culture shocks I’ve had in a long time. We have wonderful food in St.Louis, especially Chinese food. Our chinamen is to DIE FOR its stlouis tho a few have lol! Since moving I gave up chinamen for tacos and don’t regret it at all til I go home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Only credit due is from GOD, MYSELF, AND MY CLIENTS! I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for the BIG 3! When family didn’t believe I STRIVED, when friends didn’t believe I THRIVED, and when, in the rare coincidence of me shortly not believing in myself? With prayer, I SURVIVED!!
