We had the good fortune of connecting with Blake Hundley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Blake, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
The most important decision I decided to make in working for myself, was truly believing in myself! I knew God required more of me and the only way of meeting him half way was taking a leap of faith.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The art behind what I do stems from always wanting to help others. Growing up as a little girl I always considered myself quite different! I befriended everyone and in return I turned those relationships into confidence builders. When I decided on my college career when attending East Tennessee State University, I initially thought pharmacy but was quickly reminded that math definitely wasn’t my forte! That’s when I decided to go based on my personality so Communications with a focus in Advertising & Marketing it was! The best decision I could have ever made! That decision has led me to where I am today. I take great joy in helping small businesses grow, while implementing social media marketing strategies to help drive sales.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely have to take her into the city for a brunch date! I love brunching especially when the weather is nice!

I’d say our week would consist of laughter. Random chick flick movies, a dinner date at a restaurant we’ve never been to, followed by a day at Piedmont park or a bike ride on the Atlanta belt line!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to dedicate this shout out to my husband Jamaal for always believing in me, supporting my business and pouring into my gifts. Anytime I feel like I’m being hit with a road block he encourages me to look at the bigger picture. I’m forever grateful to have such a wonderful helpmate by my side daily!
