We had the good fortune of connecting with Bino Benjamin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bino, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Business ownership, like life, is rarely predicable and will challenge you in ways you could never foresee. It’s a never-ending pursuit; an everlasting experiment. Time and money are equally valuable. That’s where the balance is. Time doesn’t get enough perceived value because we, as a society, are trapped in a race against time.I’ve learned it’s important to enjoy special moments and cherish calm moments instead of always working toward a new accomplishment. You need to check out every once in a while so you can recharge, you’ll be able to give even more when you come back. Most importantly, don’t stop. The ones who have succeeded are the ones who never stopped.

What should our readers know about your business?
The passion of creating our clients vision for each event is the most important factor behind our success at Kaptured Photo Booth. We don’t waste time maintaining an image of ourself that the people around us like but rather just be ourself and make the most of our strengths – that’s convincing. As a company our goal has always been to be optimistic. We know that with God by our side no man can hold back the blessings he has set in motion. As a company we have had plenty of setback and obstacles but how we respond to each one is what sets us apart. We started in the middle of the pandemic when there were no events. It took determination and grit to keep pushing as a leading Photo Booth company in DFW. We’re the true story that failures and no’s can never break our spirits. We were blessed to have an amazing community to help us reach a bigger audience and the relationships we have built through celebrating others success and wins made it easy for our community to show us love. We have championed others to chase their dreams because growing up in a South Asian community dreams outside of the set professions are not looked as promising. Our heart has always been to give back to the community we serve in DFW. Tomorrow is not guaranteed and I don’t want to wish “what could have been ” knowing we have the strength to make dreams into reality.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
While our upbringing doesn’t determine our fate, it can often have a significant impact. Where we grew, who we grew up with, the sort of parents or guardians we had and the values they taught us can all deeply affect the life we go on to live as adults. We come from a family of Immigrants who left India to start a life in America, the land of the free and the home of the brave. The American Dream where hard work beats talent every day was key to our startup. I have seen my parents struggle and work hard to earn us the American dream as immigrants and I have learned to appreciate it all. I have been motivated to work hard to give back to my parents and all we left behind back home someday hopefully soon. My parents taught me how to be strategic with my goals and never take no for an answer if I truly want something. They raised me to always use my logics  and never make emotional decisions which translated heavy in business. You don’t have to be the smartest in the room but if able to learn and be coachable one can have the financial freedom that you’ve been longing for. Being hospital professionals it’s natural that customer service is key in our everyday life. That same service and attentional detail is essential to our business and is what we truly enjoy the most. It’s a joy to be a part of and celebrate our customers’ monumental chapters and milestones in life. We believe that commemorating life regardless of who you are should be core to our brand at Kaptured Photobooth. To leave a lasting impression on our clients is what we strive for as a company.
