We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Rochell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, what are you inspired by?
I’m inspired by anything and anyone that brings light to my path. You can find inspiration everywhere you are if you remain focused on your destination.

What should our readers know about your business?
Yoga by Bianca is unique in the fact that I’m a yoga instructor turned yoga therapist who created her own yoga apparel, mats, and mala beads. I’m excited and passionate about bringing people of all walks of life together to experience a connection to peace that never leaves them no matter where they are. I got to where I am today with lots of prayer, consistency, resilience, unstoppable focus, and huge support from loved ones. It was definitely difficult and is still difficult with what we’re experiencing through the pandemic. However, I know that obstacles are temporary and this time of uncertainty will pass. I overcome challenges through daily prayer and meditation before my day begins, before I speak to anyone else, God is first. I’ve learned no matter what state life is in, I have peace that no one can take away. I want the world to know Yoga by Bianca is taking off the training wheels and preparing to take flight.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to some of my small business owners and show them how to support some great local businesses like Rare Essentials, Cassie Green Health Elderberry Syrup, Aborginality, Thryv Organics, Pan Africa, and Halycon.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many that have contributed to my success! I’ve received an immense amount of support from family, friends, and my yogi family. However, there are some key people that I want to highlight. Lisa Pickell, told me she saw a light in me when I was at my heaviest (during my 1st certification training). While she wasn’t thinking about my weight at all, it was a huge encouragement to me when I was still feeling down. She’s like a mama bear to me and still checks on me to this day. Also, I want to give some special shoutouts to some mentors and other special yogis: Marco Delossantos, Sing Sing, Rachel & Alex Fox, Sean Beiersdorfer, Dustin Miller, Jenni Mueller, Cassie Green, and Zanobia Zubair. I truly am grateful for everything you all have taken the time to teach me and will keep you close to my heart always.
