We had the good fortune of connecting with Becky Marple and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Becky, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
Organizing is expensive
It doesn’t have to be!
We often source inexpensive, quality and still great looking baskets and containers.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So in addition to just naturally being organized, I took classes and courses to understand ADHD, ADD, OCD, hoarding, trauma and loss and how it correlates to our homes. No two homes or clients are the same. They have different lifestyles and will run their homes differently. When I organize for a client I want to set them up for long term success. I want it to be easy and natural for them to maintain.
I think what sets BeeNeat apart is we’ve accumulated a large base of high profile clients that are pretty high profile. These types of clients have a careers that sometimes mean they get traded or have to move with little notice and we’re the company that comes and picks up the pieces behind them. Overseeing the move, packing, unpacking, buying supplies for the new home, buying and setting up groceries, even making beds etc so our clients and their families can walk in, turn key and everything is perfectly placed and put away.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout out to my late father, who was Air Force.
My parents had ten children together and we’re all hyper organized and our homes run like clocks thanks to the tools our parents taught us.
They taught us to only keep what you need, taught me to clean the kitchen as you cook rather than deal with a mess at the end, taught me to clean the house before leaving for vacation so you come home to a nice clean home etc.
