We had the good fortune of connecting with Bea Carroll, RDN, LDN, MBA and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bea, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
“I’m here to normalize nutrition—not as a trend, but as a lifestyle rooted in dignity, education, and empowerment.”

Honey Bee Nutrition, LLC is built on the belief that everyone deserves access to credible, compassionate nutrition care. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I focus on restoring people’s relationship with food by addressing the real barriers, stress, trauma, food insecurity, and misinformation. When individuals feel safe and confident with nutrition, every area of their life improves, creating a positive ripple effect within families and communities.

Through workshops, corporate wellness programs, and my upcoming comprehensive nutrition app.

My mission is to normalize nutrition as a lifestyle rooted in dignity, education, and empowerment. When people are nourished, communities thrive, and that’s the impact Honey Bee Nutrition, LLC strives to make every day.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Honey Bee Nutrition was created to make nutrition feel human again. What sets my work apart is the way I blend science with compassion—honoring someone’s story just as much as their symptoms. I don’t teach quick fixes; I help people build a healthier relationship with food that feels safe, sustainable, and rooted in dignity.

I’m most proud of the spaces I’ve created where people feel seen—whether that’s in my workshops, my telehealth practice, or the AI-powered nutrition app I’m building to expand access to personalized care. I want people in every community, every ZIP code, and every season of life to receive guidance that honors their whole self.

My journey here was anything but easy. I come from generations of women who battled weight and emotional eating, and watching my mother struggle with her health during college lit my purpose. But building a business while raising children, navigating grief, and healing my own patterns took resilience I didn’t know I had.

The challenges taught me that consistency beats perfection, purpose grows through vulnerability, and the right mentors and supporters will always meet you where your courage shows up.

What I want the world to know is this: Honey Bee Nutrition is not just a brand—it’s a movement to normalize nourishment, restore trust in our bodies, and rewrite generational stories around food. My work is my love letter to my family, my community, and everyone who needs a gentler way to heal.

I’m proud of where I am, but even more grateful for where this mission is about to go.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Dallas–Fort Worth, I’d give them a week that shows off the very best of the city. We’d start with brunch at spots like The Henry for its relaxed elegance or Sixty Vines with its airy wine-bistro charm. For wellness, I’d take them to Sound Bath Dallas or The Movement Loft for intentional sound-healing sessions that reset the mind and body. One afternoon would be reserved for the iconic Dallas Athletic Club, where they could enjoy championship-level golf, a refined lunch, and a classic midday cocktail. As the sun sets, we’d head to rooftops like The Clover Club for skyline views and live jazz, or slip into intimate spots like Ellie’s or The Balcony Club for a soulful, unforgettable night. We’d explore the character of Dallas through neighborhoods like Bishop Arts, Deep Ellum, and Uptown, each full of personality and culture. And of course, we’d make time for scenic moments, wandering Klyde Warren Park or taking in the panoramic views from Reunion Tower. Dallas has a rhythm of its own, and this itinerary captures the food, the music, the wellness, and the energy that make this city special.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout begins with my mother, whose health journey during my freshman year opened my eyes to the kind of impact I wanted to make in the world. And to my family and friends, thank you for carrying me through my low seasons and reminding me who I am when I forgot.

To my mentors who planted seeds, offered guidance, shared their experiences, and always made time to give perspective or honest feedback, you helped shape the woman and professional I am becoming.

And to Brandon Hall of -Ment Fitness and the -Ment Community, thank you for trusting me with your community and giving me the space to build frameworks that now support people across the nation.

My journey is woven from all of you, your strength, your belief, and your love.
