We had the good fortune of connecting with Be Pride and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Be, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Yes I do, my favorite quote derives from my late grandmother and goes “say what you mean and mean what you”. That’s what I live by. Most people I would say may not like that quote because requires a sense of self accountability and also it leverages others to do the same. My favorite affirmation is one I came up with myself which is also a value that I hold. It goes like this “If you never step out then the people who are assigned to you can never step up.” That affirmation derived from the fact that we are all connected and with that we all are trailblazers and way makers in our right regarding our dreams, visions and goals, and with that we have people whom are assigned to us whether we know it or not. So if we don’t step out for the next 10 years on things visions and dreams the God has given then we stagnate and hinder those who are assigned that are awaited our guidance and blueprint in order to get going themselves.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is my passion for the art of acting. I look at acting as an avenue of self expression. Which allows me to dive into anything character of choosing, learning the character and doing my best to embody it. Working on my craft and continuing to learn new ways to be creative within the art. Easy….not at all lol and by focusing on how I wanted to be received by my audience. Learn, Take your time and don’t overthink. That I’am a rising star, who comes from a small town/city and my goal is to encourage my hometown and people around and make them smile and proud.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
1. Da Munchies, it’s a vegan restaurant in Dallas that has great vegan foods 2. The Chocolate Lounge Exclusive also located in Dallas, beautiful atmosphere and service. 3.
