We had the good fortune of connecting with Bashar Almudhafar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bashar, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
From when I was a little kid , I’ve always dreamed of being a chef. When I was a child I would help my mother cook and clean. The first meal I cooked for my family was when I was in 7th grade and that helped motivate me.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It is easy because I love my job, but on the other hand it is really hard because you have to keep your business on a good level, It’s hard to make everyone satisfied. I work at least 14- 16 hours everyday preparing food and teaching the employees since they’re from different cultures and don’t know a lot about our food.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the stockyard, six flags, the highlands Arlington, and especially preparing special dishes at fattoush.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a big thanks to mrs. Jennifer hurley and her group, Arlington foodies. They supported my business a whole lot my advertising, telling people about us, and more.
