We had the good fortune of connecting with B.Hunt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi B.Hunt, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own brand was I got tired of spending hundred and thousands of dollars on designer brands. I wanted to use that same money as investment into my own brand. I wanted a part of me to leave with others. I wanted to create a brand for the people that was classic, universal, and affordable. I wanted to be able to serve others and give them the exact style they wanted.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets my brand most apart from other brands is the fact that we not only offer stylish clothing but we offer a styling service which would allow you to essentially get anything you desire within your budget. My brand is a one stop shop. If you can’t find anything you want, you can always reach out to our celebrity stylist for a VIP styling experience where he guarantees to find what you need. I’m most proud of the versatility of the brand and being able to stay afloat during the pandemic by creating comfort clothing and offering virtual styling.
This wasn’t an easy road building my brand but it takes determination and courage to become successful in this field.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend is coming to town, we have do it big. So we are going to kick it a couple days in Dallas then we are heading to Houston for a couple days . We have to get some soul food at Sweet Georgia Browns while in Dallas and Six Flags but def not on the same day because those portions are crazy. I’m a foodie so, we have to also hit Tru kitchen, and Rudy’s Chicken. Besides food, I’d say let’s catch a Cowboys or Mavericks game and tour downtown at night to see the city and bridge.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I owe a lot of my success to my dad. He always has believed in me and supported my dreams no matter what they were. He pushed me to be the best at everything I did. He will forever be my greatest supporter.
