We had the good fortune of connecting with @AVTHEGREAT #NoFakeHandShakes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi @AVTHEGREAT, what role has risk played in your life or career?
What seems as a risk to you may be a calculated move to me. I was gullible enough to believe the phrase “you can be whatever you want to be” or “do whatever you put your mind to” as a child. How can I sit up here and say the same thing to my children if they don’t see me going after it. I define my success and no public admiration or acceptance can validate what I feel when I look in the mirror everyday. You don’t have to get it, I just gotta believe, and maybe over time you will too. #NoFakeHandShakes #RosaRegale

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I learned how to take “NO” for an answer and just find another way to get my “Yes” if that’s what I really wanted. I don’t spend alot time trying to convince people and that comes off bad to some but Im quick to be like oh well I could use that energy on getting what I want. My imagination is everything. I see it, I believe it and make it happen by any means. “Sometimes you have to close your eyes to see the vision” you know ?! Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it not but, it’s always worth it. The biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way is that opposites attract and when your vibrating high, lower frequencies will come to cause a divide and it’ll be the one’s that your closest too. Until you master “balance” you will continue to be tested in different angles. We can’t escape it. We have to face it. Ascension is waiting. Walk in the light. The brand #NoFakeHandShakes started as some people hating not keeping their word but now it’s about self accountability and making sure I keep my word. I’m only responsible for what I can control and other people’s action aren’t included in that. Karma takes care of the rest.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day One – I don’t trust many so if you a friend you have to say hi to the fam! If you can’t be around my fam we ain’t friends at all. Rest up bc we going hard the rest of the week. Anybody who know me knows I’m about having fun within handling business so for the rest of the time it’s all about goals, making money, laughing and eating good. We gotta get those RT’s “Treys Special” Wings and Clara’s Kitchen Fish baskets. Catch a concert or two. Be my right hand for some business meetings. Create and chill in the lab. Music and more music. Meet and greet some people then go back home inspired and safe.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My 1st born “B.B.” gave me a reason to live. My 2nd born “H-Town” gave me focus. My 3rd born “Kai Kai’ taught me how to love. Dr. Rose and my nephew “C” Remind me that’s it’s bigger than me. Fam Over Gang, I love my family and city. S.E.D. H.LV. #RosaRegale #NoFakeHandShakes
