We had the good fortune of connecting with Aubrie Pitts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aubrie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was to make sure I’m doing something that I love and profit off of it. A lot of times in life we get stuck and settle with jobs and careers that we don’t see ourselves doing, but we do it because that is what’s convenient at the moment. I didn’t want to settle and be unhappy. So I found something I love to do, I created a passion for it and it went up from there.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve always had a passion for building, painting, renovating, organizing, and other things in that area so I knew what I wanted to do the hardest part was actually doing it. I overthink sometimes or wonder if someone will like my work, I question myself often. But in order to grow I had to get out of that mindset. I wanted to be bigger than what I was, I wanted to make more money than what I was making, and most importantly I wanted to be satisfied with my career choice. And those things that I just listed is what motivated me the most that’s how I overcame the challenges that I faced. There’s one lesson that I’ve learned while on my journey and that’s to be patient. I fell in love with fast money but building relationships is something I prioritize because that’s what will take you far, your name and what you represent. Building relationships require time and patience it’s not always about the money.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I really don’t have any specific places but my week would consist of brunches , dinners & we might go out to a few bars. I’m a person that likes to have fun so arcades would be included so would trails & parks around the city!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
One thing that I make sure I do is be thankful for the love and support that everyone around has given to me. First, I thank God because when times were tough he gave me hope. I thank my parents of course for allowing me to live out my dreams. All my friends, clients, and anyone who worked with me so I could invest in myself!
