We had the good fortune of connecting with Arianna Wellmoney and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arianna, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I decided to pursue a career in acting because it is something that I have been fascinated by since I was a young kid. Creating art, storytelling and embodying another person is always thrilling and exciting. I knew it was not gonna be an easy profession but I feel the most alive when I am performing and surrounded by likeminded artists.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Today I wanna tell you about the new play that I wrote, called “He’s different”, which will open on June 6th at the Flea Theater, as part of the Rogue Theater Festival.

“He’s Different” delves into the intricacies of dating in the modern world, where feminist ideals collide with the allure of potential. Liv, our protagonist, is fed up with witnessing her friends repeatedly fall for mediocre men. As she navigates the complexities of modern dating, Liv encounters Travis, a seemingly different breed of man — intelligent, cultured, and intriguing. But just as sparks begin to fly, fate intervenes, leaving Liv questioning the true nature of attraction and the allure of potential.

I will also be playing the role of Liv and the show will be directed by Bradly Valenzuela. I am extremely excited about starting rehearsal. I hope I bring something new to the New York Theater scene.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would love to take my best friend to Coney Island. I was there recently, and despite the cold temperature, it reminded me of how alive that part of New York can be during the summer. The beach, the amusement park, groups of family and friends roaming and having fun.

Another place I would love to show my best friend is Roosevelt Island. It’s a small island between Manhattan and Queens and it is one of New York’s best ket secrets. It is quiet, quaint and a great escape from the crowds of the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents and family are my biggest supporters. They have encouraged me from the start and always support me from afar. My parents, along with the rest of my family, still live in Italy, but we call each other everyday. I always keep my family updated on my projects and plans. They are all super supportive when it comes to my career and even in difficult times, they lend me a listening ear. I would not be where I am today without their love and support!
