We had the good fortune of connecting with Anil Patel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anil, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Smile!! It is the most important and rewarding factor behind my success. As a dentist, my only goal is to help my patient smile again with confidence. And that’s the only thing keeps me going. Seeing dentist is not easy for anyone. At my private practice, our approach to dentistry is little different. I listen, make them comfortable, give them the smile they desire. It changes people’s life. They start smiling bigger!! You can see a new found confidences in their eyes which helps them accomplish more in their personal as well as professional lives.

What should our readers know about your business?
After graduating from the dental school, When I started practicing, I realized that nobody enjoys seeing a dentist as it is an unpleasant experience. However, I believed that things could be different if I could provide a modern and comfortable environment to people I treat. Thus, I decided to open my own dental practice with the vision of treating my patient’s like family providing a gentle and comfort care to change their perception about dentistry. Soon I realized though, In the world of marketing and big corporates, Running a small family business is not easy. Covid did not help either. Gradually, I build a team of positive and friendly people whose entire goal is to make patient’s dental visit a pleasant experience. We have realized that patients find us unique and and refer us their family and friends. We have started growing by word of mouth. I take a pride that we provide a personalized dental care to each of our patients that make them leave us with a smiling face.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I directly came to Fort worth from India and lived most of my time in the states over here so I consider it my home town. I love this city! I would definitely take my friend to the Fort worth downtown. I enjoy drinking beer and eating a burger while listening to live band at flying saucer restaurant. Me and my wife like taking a little stroll around Sundance square during summer evenings. Visiting a museum in the cultural district is always refreshing. Top golf is a good place to have a fun evening. My daughter enjoys watching the cattle walk at the stockyards. Even going for a bike ride on one of those trails around trinity river is an adventure.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to recognize two ladies who always supported me throughout my journey. One of them is my mother! She has always encouraged me to take a little risk in the life to better experience its depth. I come from a middle class family in India. With a limited resources, she made sure I have a better education. When I express my wish to study abroad, she is the one who supported me to achieve my dream. And the second person is my wife! I had a vision of providing a comfortable, friendly and modern experience to people I treat. I realized that it wouldn’t be possible without opening my own practice. She has helped me making my vision a reality.
