Meet Ana and Diana Espinosa | Co-owners & Certified Wedding and Event Planners

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana and Diana Espinosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ana and Diana, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor to be successful for us is to love people well and to serve them to the best of our ability. We see success in our eyes when we have cared for the client’s needs and when they feel listened to and supported by our team. Our goal is to create memorable moments for them with our set ups while also creating a relationship with our clients. We are motivated to do this by remembering that our business is not about becoming successful in making a huge name for ourselves, our heart behind it all is that we truly want to care for people well and serve them, making them feel appreciated and built up as we get the opportunity to work closely with them in making their special day possible.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Picnic Maker Dallas is a business that is specifically catered to the clients aesthetic and vision, we take priority in ensuring that our clients get exactly what they are dreaming of for their event by valuing the details that take a set up from good to great. We are so proud of seeing how much our business has grown from the first day and how many people have continued to trust us for moments in their lives that are special to them. We are so honored to have opportunities to partner with some our favorite Dallas businesses and being recognized with our work.
We were able to get to where we are today by allowing ourselves to expand our knowledge in the Wedding and Event industry by getting certified through Lovegevity Wedding and Event Planning Institute. We have pushed ourselves outside of our creative boundaries and have not limited ourselves to one style of events. We have said yes to learning new skills and through that we have been able to expand our services and reach more clients. This was not easy, as we were comfortable doing our traditional two person picnics, but it has been fun and rewarding to accomplish more than we thought we could do. For example, we have gotten to design and set up table scapes for wedding rehearsal dinners, corporate parties, and Dallas influencers. We have also gotten to be a part of designing and setting up engagements, creating personalized wedding place settings, bachelorette parties with customized gifts and favors, wedding photo back drops, balloon installations, and even getting to coordinate some of our clients’ weddings!
The lesson that we have learned along the way is to always say yes and make it happen! We want the world to know that we put our whole hearts into what we do not for the success or recognition, but for the purpose of building relationships with our clients and making them feel valued.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We love Dallas and all of the fun places it has to offer! When our family or friends come into town for a weekend, we love to take them to the places where we feel the most inspired such as the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, our favorite coffee shops, and aesthetically designed restaurants. As we are also both fitness instructors at The Bar Method Preston Hollow, we delight in sharing that part of our lives with our friends and helping others be the best versions of themselves.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Family means everything to us, and we are so appreciative of our mom and all of the help she has put in to making this dream business come to life. We have all worked together closely as a family to launch this business and although it has been challenging, we are so grateful that we have each other to keep going and not lose our purpose in the hard days
