We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Weitzer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amber, how does your business help the community?
Silhouettes of Success has been in the making for decades throughout my life journey. The journey to this point has equipped me with a bounty of life experiences and connections, it’s time to share. After launching my own, from the ground up independent real estate brokerage Couture Real Estate Firm in 2017, it is at a successful place where I could now allocate some time and energy to define the shaping of my hearts true calling in creating this company and nonprofit. The white heat desire ramped up after launching of The Amber Weitzer Podcast, Silhouettes of Success with a commitment to showcase and bring amazing women to the forefront, it laid the foundation for the vision to become a reality. In staying true to the mission, I am bringing together outstanding every day, real life women to share their stories to help inspire, uplift and collaborate by passing the light forward to help illuminate another’s Silhouette of Success. I am embarking on the next phases that will be providing a membership-based community for professional development opportunities by way of seminars, courses, masterminds and a variety of collaborations which of course will organically enrich through personal growth and confidence. The membership has been intentionally structured so that our Silhouettes Of Success Members embrace a commitment to giving back during the year in a variety of ways, for example mentorship, facilitating a class or sponsorships. It’s a way for all of us to continue to pass the light forward….so one day it will be her turn to help uplift.
In going a step beyond the membership base opportunity, Silhouettes Of Success Foundation, a 501(c)(3) will benefit from our Members through mentorship, collaborations and/or grants to the program offerings to then graduate with a new to her work/professional outfit ensemble from donations (plus few other sparking perks too!).
The passionate mission of Silhouettes Of Success Foundation is to provide lower-income or disadvantaged women seeking to advance, elevate and improve their lives for a full circle transformation of their collaboration with us-empowered, uplifted and poised for success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I take pride in having professional values are traditional and rooted in grace, humbleness, and courtesy. At the same time, you will find that I’m driven and motivated by the passion for an internal excellence for my clients and the industry. Clients use words to describe her like professional, confident, and “a certain presence about her”, virtually all will state that they have just met a life-long friend. That’s pretty cool. As a second-generation real estate Broker, I grew up playing office at myfather’s brokerage. I have witnessed the ups and downs of the industry, remembers 18% interest rates, market busts and booms…even maintained a front desk paper copy of an MLS book. I’ve been through four significant economic downturns; the 80’s, September 11th, recession of 2007-2009 and 2020 pandemic yet grown stronger, survived in business and tenaciously striving for more! It’s my passion and goal to serve others, passing the light forward.
It’s been a remarkable journey, from pre-licensed real estate administrative roles later as a new licensee with a traditional legacy brand to a flashy new start-up (Agent #23 at your service!) and wrapping up with a local “boutique style” office before opening her own independent firm.
The vignette of Couture Real Estate Firm was sketched out while attending the RISMedia CEO Power Broker Exchange in New York City during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in 2015…need I say more? The motivation intensified, the purposeful mission accelerated with a burning white-hot desire to design and launch a brokerage solely focused on services tailored to the clientele, community and valued partners. To do it with class, consciousness, consistency and a little avant-garde!
Instinctively journaling and taking copious notes along the way (a true product of my mother and Grandmother Dorothy) from my first retail job, to the corporate gig with side hustles of dumpster diving for vintage treasures, later an event, floral and wedding services business back into real estate, whew! My business experience, hard-knocks life education has been enriching as I evolved during this journey. All of this exposure and experience allowed me to discover, define and unveil her true “Silhouette of Success” cultivating of who I am today.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m a pretty lucky lady! I grew up a Texas girl but born and raised in Michigan rooted with Midwest values, a solid work ethic and brought up respecting “The Golden Rule”. So yes, a magnanimous Shoutout to my family of which I am blessed to be a part of an amazing, sizable diverse family tree filled with a myriad of occupations from educators, professionals, coaches, military service members, stay at home parents, factory workers, authors, C-suites, farmers, entrepreneurs and mentors plus the Silhouettes of Success VIP Featured Guests past, present and future…to each of you for the gifts from you all to allow me to witness, observe and learn from along my journey.
