We had the good fortune of connecting with AMBER FOGELMAN and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi AMBER, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
It is a struggle and there are definitely times when I think I am ready to shut down when I get overwhelmed or have too much going on with my full-time job. (I do community relations for a hospital network). Then I see someone who tells me how much they love my business and how they admire me for hanging in there through everything and I get pumped up again and I am ready to go.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I enjoy representing the hospital in the community and providing resources for the citizens of our community. My business gives me a way to help women by helping them look and feel good and comfortable. Together they let me help the community in two different ways.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a Fort Worth girl so we would of course go to the Fort Worth Stockyards, eat at H3, have drinks at the Hotel Grover and just get some true Texas feels. You have to go to a concert at Billy Bob’s. Fort Worth also has a great Cultural District so visiting the museums and Clearfork will definitely make the list and there are so many restaurants we to go to, it is hard to pick just a few, so we will snack around and enjoy all the patios.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
100% my mom. She has been my rock through every step of my life. I jokingly commented on wanting to start a turquoise business and she said, “Let’s do it!”.
