Meet Amanda Kendall | Small Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Kendall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
I have completed my undergraduate degree at a later age in life. I wanted my children to see that it is never too late to go after anything in life including starting a new career.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Kendall Kreationz is proudly known for collaboration over competition mind set! I have created a lot of relationships with business owners in the same industry. What I’m proud of most is that I have normalized what used to be non existent.

I think the business has reached the level of where it is at today with creating relationships with our clients. I love that our area supports small businesses and wants to support those businesses before supporting big corporations. If I was to say that it’s been an easy road to get where I am with the business today I’d be lying! I’ve had to learn when to identify when my plate is full and learning how to say no. I’ve also had to learn and know my worth.

I want the world to know that Kendall Kreationz brand is all about small businesses supporting small businesses and even businesses in the same industry that offer same services! There is enough business to go around! Everyone can win!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh this is fun! Ok, soooo we are definitely going to Dallas to visit uptown area and new bishop arts district! We would have to go to a Dallas Cowboys game because that’s a must if you’re visiting in the football season! I would take the bestie the Omni hotel for the best view of Dallas (instagram approved skyline pictures!) we would have to go eat tacos at an authentic taco stand and visit Deep Ellum! Oh and for sure visit the Dallas aquarium and Dallas Arboretum! I would end the week on a trip to Fort Worth Stockyards!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! After starting my balloon small business journey Mary w/Sugar Kissed Balloons a fellow balloon artist in my local area reached out to me on social media. She set up a lunch with Amanda w/Gray Events (another balloon artist in our area) we were all nervous to meet each other but right away we hit it off! We ended up staying at the restaurant for 3 hours enjoying each others stories and learning from each other. Since then we have collaborated and made a special bond with each other! We all support one another! That’s what makes these woman so special to me!
