We had the good fortune of connecting with Alyssa and Tim Tamayo and Bovre and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alyssa and Tim, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We went to a birthday party that had a Photo Booth and we saw how much fun the guests were having while creating long lasting memories. It is a great way to keep guests entertained by being fun and interactive. We thought starting this business would be a fun side hustle while working our full time jobs.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a family owned business and very excited to provide a service to clients where they can have fun while creating lasting memories with loved ones. We both come from different backgrounds. Tim has a background in Sales and Event Production. Alyssa has a background in Client Services and Sales. We put a lot of work and effort into trainings, ways to market our brand and our website. Lessons we have learned include understanding the different markets and being able to adapt to each; such as the wedding and corporate industry. We would love the world to know we are client centric and do not want our clients to feel this is just a transaction but a memory. We would love for everyone to leave the event knowing they had a great time and a digital snapshot of the night to remember in which they can share with friends, family and social media.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For the guests that want the “Texas” experience, we would take them to Fort Worth to visit the Stock Yards, go to the Rodeo, maybe take them to Billy Bobs for drinks and a concert and definitely take them to get some Texas BBQ. If the guest wants more of a city vibe, then we would take them to Dallas. We can take them to the American Airlines Center for a Mavs game/Stars game/or a concert. For food and drinks, we would take them to a cool lounge or rooftop. For outdoor activity, we would take them to Klyde Warren park or a walk on the Katy Trail.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to give a shoutout to Alyssa’s Dad, Steve. He was an important part in the start-up process of the business such as the legal part and the contracts. Also, Alyssa’s mom, Lucy who assisted us with the marketing.
