Meet Alysha Rose | Licensed Cosmetologist and Master Braider

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alysha Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alysha, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I chose to pursue an artistic career because creativity has always been a core part of who I am. I love bringing ideas to life from scratch, watching something evolve from nothing into something meaningful is truly beautiful. Having the skills to create and provide that transformation for my clients has made this career the most rewarding decision I’ve made for myself and my family.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Over the past five years as a full-time entrepreneur and hairstylist, I’ve continued to push myself to grow, improve, and stand out in this industry. I’m committed to delivering not only quality work but also an exceptional experience for every client I serve. What sets me apart is that I provide everything my clients need—from shampoos and treatments to blowouts and styling products—so all they have to do is show up, relax, and get ready to see the best version of themselves.
It hasn’t always been easy. In an industry where standing out is key, I’ve worked hard to differentiate myself by truly listening to my clients and understanding their needs. Whether they’re looking for a professional hairstylist or a skilled braider, I make it my mission to deliver results that exceed expectations.
With that, I want the world to know that Eloquent Tresses is here to provide all of your healthy hair care needs in a clean, peaceful, and welcoming environment.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting from out of town, I’d definitely take her to Downtown Dallas, especially near Deep Ellum, to ride scooters and soak in the city vibe! After that, we’d head to Crab Station for some amazing seafood. We’d also make our way to the Addison area to play putt-putt, stop by Sidecar Social, and grab a drink to cap off a fun day.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d love to give credit to my baby brother, EJ. Even while facing his own battle with a terminal illness, he remained my biggest supporter. His unwavering encouragement—especially during such a difficult time—inspired me to pursue and earn my cosmetology license.
