We had the good fortune of connecting with Alejandra Pedroza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alejandra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I thought about starting a business, it was right after my daughter was born during the COVID pandemic. I stopped working to take care of her, and my main goal was to find a way to make money while staying home with her. Plus, cooking is my passion, especially sharing yummy Mexican food with others.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business thrives on quality, community impact, and sharing delicious flavors from Mexico with all people. We set ourselves apart with a focus on sustainability and customer satisfaction. Despite challenges, our resilience and support have led us to success. Lessons learned include staying true to our values and listening to our customers. We’re not just a business; we’re a force for good, committed to making a positive impact. Join us as we continue to inspire and share our passion for Mexican flavors, featuring a delicious variety of salsa macha!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
These are all the places that I would like to take my friends or family with when they visit us.
– Start the day with a visit to the Fort Worth Stockyards, catch the daily cattle drive, and explore the historic area.
– Breakfast at the Bay 34th St.
– Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.
– The Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas.
– Grapevine’s charming historic downtown and enjoy wine tastings.
–for the kids Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.
– The Star at Frisco
– and the Dallas or Fort Worth Zoo and spend time with the animals in their natural habitats.
– Some other places that i believe deserve the exposure would be the following markets:
* Carrollton Artisans market
* Castle Hills farmers market
* Flower Mound farmers market
These markets are full of hard working small business owners that proudly present their products.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Dedicated to God and my family, whose unwavering support has been the cornerstone of my journey in business. Thanks to God for being my guide and my strength, and to my family for their love, guidance, and encouragement, which have fueled my determination and the success of our venture. Thank you for being my pillars of strength.
And i would also like to give a shout out to those who support small businesses, your support makes the difference and we appreciate it.
