Meet Abbe Fenimore | Studio Ten 25 Owner and Interior Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Abbe Fenimore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Abbe, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It was one of those ‘if not now, when?’ moments. I’ve always been obsessed with creating beautiful, fabulous spaces that feel personal, vibrant, and a little unexpected. After years of working in the design world, I realized I wanted to build something that was 100% me—bold colors, pattern on pattern, and yes, a little sparkle never hurt anybody.
Starting Studio Ten 25 wasn’t just about running a business, it was about bringing my own creative vision to life and connecting with clients who wanted that same level of ‘gorgeous, but make it livable.’ And let’s be honest, being my own boss means I get to say things like ‘I’m here for it’ on repeat and no one can stop me. It’s been a wild, colorful ride, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
For me, design is art. It’s not just about picking a pretty sofa or slapping up some wallpaper. It’s about creating spaces that feel personal, and layered. Color is my love language. I’m not afraid of bold patterns, mixed textures, or a little sparkle — actually, I live for it. What sets me apart is that I lean all the way in to creating spaces that are joyful, full of personality, and a true reflection of my clients. Safe and beige? Not on my watch.
I’m most proud of building Studio Ten 25 into a brand that feels like me. I’ve designed over 100 sorority houses — yes, really — and seeing those young women light up when their house feels like a home? That’s everything. I’m also a Wayfair Tastemaker, which is such an honor, and a nod to staying true to my style while inspiring others.
But let me be clear: it hasn’t always been easy. Starting my own business was exciting, but it came with late nights, self-doubt, and a lot of ‘figure it out as you go’ moments. I’ve had to learn how to balance the creative side with running a business, how to say no to projects that aren’t the right fit, and how to trust my gut when things get overwhelming. The biggest lesson? Stay true to your voice — that’s your superpower.
What I want the world to know is this: Studio Ten 25 isn’t just about pretty rooms. It’s about creating spaces that make people feel something. I want my clients to walk in and think, ‘This is so me.’ Every space should tell a story — layered, bold, and unapologetically personal. That’s the magic.
At the end of the day, my story is one of hard work, passion, and a lot of fabulous wallpaper. And I’m here for it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Buckle up because we’re doing Dallas right. If my best friend was in town for a full week, you know we’d have a fabulous itinerary filled with good food, pretty places, and a little retail therapy. Dallas is a city that knows how to turn up the glam while keeping it fun and down to earth. Here’s how I’d plan the perfect week-long bestie trip:
Day 1: Welcome to Dallas, Love
We’re kicking it off with brunch at Mercat Bistro—it’s charming, a little European, and the perfect way to ease into the week.
After brunch, a stroll through the Dallas Arboretum for garden inspiration (and cute photo ops, obviously).
Dinner would be at The Charles in the Design District—gorgeous interiors and even better pasta. Very on-brand for me.
Day 2: Design & Decor Dream Day
First stop: The Dallas Design District. We’re popping into my favorite showrooms for serious eye candy.
Lunch at Pie Tap Pizza Workshop (because pizza is always a good idea).
Afternoon shopping at Blue Print Store on Fairmount—hello, curated home accessories and art heaven.
Cocktails at The Mansion Bar—it’s iconic Dallas glam with a side of live music.
Day 3: Shop Till We Drop
We’re doing Highland Park Village—it’s chic, luxe, and a Dallas staple. Bonus: the architecture is swoon-worthy.
Lunch at Bird Bakery for the cutest sandwiches and a sweet treat.
Then, swing by Lou Lou La Falaise for unique fashion finds.
Early dinner at Le Bilboquet—always a scene and always fabulous.
Day 4: Art & Culture Vibes
Morning coffee and pastries from La La Land Kind Cafe—good vibes only.
Spend the day at the Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher Sculpture Center.
Grab a late lunch at The Henry—great rooftop, even better people watching.
Evening drinks at Midnight Rambler, the cool speakeasy in The Joule Hotel.
Day 5: We’re starting the day with a little wellness moment — popping into a Pilates class at Session Pilates or a yoga flow at We Yogis. Gotta balance out all the wining and dining, right? Plus, it’s a perfect reset before diving back into the fun
Lunch at Honor Bar in Highland Park.
Spend the afternoon browsing Forty Five Ten—it’s quirky, bold, and SO much fun.
Dinner at R & D Kitchen—relaxed but fabulous.
Day 6: Outdoor Fun & Southern Charm
Morning walk and juice at Katy Trail Ice House.
Then head to Bishop Arts District for local boutiques, funky art, and brunch at Oddfellows.
Then we’re heading to Vintage Martini—one of my absolute favorite spots for designer vintage finds. Think Chanel jackets, statement accessories, and all the vintage glam a girl could want. It’s a treasure hunt, and you know I love a good layered moment
Dinner at Parigi—it’s charming, intimate, and the menu is always spot-on.
Day 7: Sunday Funday Finale
We’re wrapping up this Dallas adventure with a classic: Ojeda’s for a laid-back Sunday brunch with—what else?—margaritas. Because why mess with perfection? It’s Tex-Mex comfort food at its finest and the ultimate Dallas way to say goodbye.
And when it’s time to head back home, I’ll send them off in style with an Alto ride to Love Field. No Ubers here, honey—we’re keeping it elevated till the very end. Safe travels, and come back soon!
Dallas is full of personality, charm, and style—just how I like my interiors. This city has been such a big part of my story, and showing it off to my besties? I’m here for it.”

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh, absolutely! This journey is not a solo act. First and foremost, my parents deserve a major standing ovation. They’ve always believed in me, even when I was a little girl moving furniture around my room for the hundredth time, thinking I was redesigning a showroom. Their constant support and encouragement gave me the confidence to go for it—and they still cheer me on every step of the way.
And my husband? He’s been there through the late nights, the big installs, the crazy deadlines, and those ‘should I really be doing this?’ moments. He’s my sounding board, my sanity check, and sometimes my personal delivery guy when we’re in crunch mode. He keeps me grounded when my ideas go full maximalist.
Of course, my clients deserve a huge shoutout too. They trust me to bring bold colors, layered patterns, and a little sparkle into their homes, and honestly, they’re the reason I get to wake up and do what I love.
It really does take a village, and I’m so grateful for mine. Studio Ten 25 wouldn’t be what it is without the people who believed in the vision—even when it was just a dream.
