We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Gray and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aaron, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
The end goal for me with my career would have to be to have played rugby at the highest level, which would be for the National team. Another goal of mine is to be able to introduce the game of rugby to the next generation of athletes and teach the game in order to grow the game for the future.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a professional rugby player with the Dallas Jackals, as well as the Loggerheads. I am most excited about being able to do what I love for work, which is to train and play rugby for a living. The road to get here was not easy, it was years of practicing and working to improve my skills as a rugby player. Staying focused on your goal and being determined will help you achieve your goal. I want the world to know that my ultimate goal is to help the younger generation develop their skills in order for them to experience a different sport such as rugby, that has so many opportunities for you to play and travel all around the world. Getting involved in rugby 9 years ago was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I have traveled around the world, met people from all over, and have had some of the best experiences by being in the rugby community.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Choctaw stadium to watch a Dallas Jackals rugby game
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout my mom Tracey for all of her efforts, support, mentorship, love, and encouragement throughout my life. She has always made sacrifices for our family and has always done whatever it takes to make sure that we did not have to struggle. She deserves so much recognition because without her I would not have the drive and determination that it takes to reach my goals and be successful.
