We had the good fortune of connecting with Monique Gordon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monique, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always wanted to be my own boss and own a business. My love for baking started at a young age and during the pandemic I decided to get intentional with getting my baking business started. I wanted to create something that I’m passionate about and that will put smiles on others faces.

What should our readers know about your business?
I like to focus on smaller more personal events such as birthday parties, graduations, reunions and other events. I’ve taught myself everything and have researched how to have a successful baking business. It has not been easy, I’ve learned what not to do and what works bests. I’m a down to earth home baker that loves to make others smile through treats.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents have been supportive throughout the entire process. They continue to be there and support all my ideas!
