Meet Bobbi Rivers | Ceo, Founder Aumour Kiddie Boutique

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bobbi Rivers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bobbi, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started Aumour Kiddie Boutique to offer more to our children. I believe that my child deserves the finer thing in life High-quality, fashionable clothing, that still allowed them to be free and be kids. We wanted to bring comfort and moveable fabrics to children while they play and enjoy daily activities. Every piece is designed to combine both casual styles with a pop of color that can be worn on any occasion. We’re a place that understands that when children are looking good, they are feeling better and excelling no matter where life takes them.

What should our readers know about your business?
Kiddie Boutique was founded in 2019 after I gave birth to my first child, Aumouri. I wanted her to have access to clothing that was cute and casual, with a little pop to it. I thought to myself, how many other moms strive to find their kids the perfect outfit for every event, that’s comfortable and breathable. While at work shopping online, I decided to be the change I wanted to see, and that birthed Aumour Kiddie Boutique. A store for kids, designed to bring lightweight, affordable pieces that toddlers and teens would love to wear.
Here at Aumour Kiddie Boutique we promote confidence, we empower our children, and we push them to be the best versions of themselves. That is why we work hard to bring versatility, clothes that can be worn for any occasion, We feel when our kids look good they feel and they do better.
We also strive to offer the highest quality of clothing at the best price. We understand that kids are constantly growing, so we want clothes that last after a few washes, clothing with vibrant colors that never fade.
Over the years, we have tried many avenues and worked with many vendors to deliver a brand that kids can be proud of, we have faced many challenges along the way. Expand our expertise and learn more about our ideal customers and their expectations. We look forward to learning and exceeding these expectations

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I really don’t get out much, but if I had to just plan something my go-to would be:
Friday would be a night visit Cafe214. Saturday we would maybe do Bitter End in Deep Ellum. Sunday bowling. During the week the activities would be extremely light. I work and I’m sure she would find things to get into and maybe end the weekdays with dinner, wine, and talks at my house.
I enjoy being anywhere that good food, drinks, and music. I just like a vibe nothing too out of hand, but still lit. lol

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family, more importantly, my fiance. When I first started my business, I was in the last semester of my Associate’s degree and I was a stay-at-home mom with a 4 months old. During this time, I was so scared because this was a big step for me. I didn’t know where to start, I had no experience I was just diving out there on faith. He supported me, pushed me, and invested in the early stages of my business. It is because of him we are celebrating 3 years of growth today. I don’t know how many times I wanted to quit, but he reminded me of the bigger picture. So here is a big shoutout to the love of my life Mr. Griffin!
