We had the good fortune of connecting with Klaudia Giardina and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Klaudia, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
One thing outsiders don’t know when they get into Real Estate is that you have to GRIND!!! It takes time to build your business. What you put in, is what you get out. Outsiders do not see when a contract is terminated, or when our clients lose out on a deal due to multiple offers, or our contract fell through because of a financial issue, or we missed out on a closing date because of something that was out of our control, etc. There’s a lot of moving parts in a real estate transaction. You must have the knowledge, confidence, and expertise to guide both your sellers and buyers. You must also have the right people in your corner that will support you, encourage you, and be there when it gets tough in Real Estate. It will get tough sometimes because it’s not an easy job. You know the saying, “if it was easy, everyone would be doing it”, well it looks really easy, so a lot of people become agents and then they quit after a year or two, because it’s harder than it looks.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My past experience in customer service has led me to become a real estate agent. I have been an agent since 2017. I have a huge heart for helping people. I love helping my clients in their journey of selling or buying a home. I’ve had some challenges along the way, but I learned to overcome them. My job doesn’t stop at the closing table. I’ve enjoyed watching my clients grow their family with babies and furbabies, celebrate promotions, get married, etc. I’ve never had a mentor in real estate, which is why when I made my decision to join Rogers Healy & Associates, this was a priority to me. I want a mentor that I know will be in my corner as I continue to grow in my business. At Rogers Healy & Associates, they have a team with resources and tools that will continue to help me be successful. I can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store for my business.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Restaurants- I am a big foodie, so my husband and I try new restaurants in DFW every weekend. Here are just a few of my faves: Mesero’s, Toulouse cafe & bar, Mi Dia from scratch, Del Frisco’s, Perry’s, Heirloom Haul and Urban Taco. I’m excited to try 5 new restaurants coming to the STAR in Frisco- Lombardi Cucina Italiana, Howard Wangs, The Gen & Monarch Stag, SnowBird Cocktail lounge & kitchen and Sidecar Social. Eataly in Dallas is fantastic. The Grandscapes in the Colony is really fun and they have lots of dining and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
Happy hour spot: J.Theodore, Haywire, HG Supply Co, Royal 38, Union Bear and The Common Table.
Secret shopping spot that all agents should check out: My secret shopping spot is Heirloom Haul- Its nestled inside Flea Style at the Star in Frisco. It has handmade, vintage and one-of- a kind lifestyle goods that celebrate small businesses. They also have a dining hall that is farm-to-table and a private tea room. You can shop and dine all in one. I highly recommend making reservations
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My kids have always been super supportive of me. They always say “you got this mom” as I leave to meet with a client. My husband has been great, he has seen the stress, the joy and maybe some tears throughout my Real estate career.
