We had the good fortune of connecting with Beth Brake and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beth, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the most important factor behind my success and my brand is the fact that I am teachable, always wanting to learn. I trust the process, the systems and the tools that are put into place and look to the successful agents that have gone in front of me. Why would I need to reinvent the wheel or do anything different at all when there’s tried and true ways to do some thing and it’s been proven to be successful

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started in real estate a little over seven years ago. When I began I simply understood a little bit of the logistical part of RE but had no idea about the relationships, the sales side of it, the prospecting and marketing and all things needed in Real Estate. It quickly became evident that this was a career I loved and would be able to do for a long time. Building relationships with each of my clients is one of the best parts about this job. All the different people I get to meet, experience the journey with them through either purchasing a home or selling or simply building their wealth in real estate is so much fun! I have the opportunity to change peoples lives, impacting them and moving them forward towards their dreams. There were definitely challenges as I learned this business, hesitations and fear were a part of it also. However, I knew that there were answers to my questions and to trust the process and systems put before me. I quickly got involved in personal one on one coaching, attended every kind of class I could having to do with all things related to real estate, including becoming a contract expert, negotiations expert, and an agent that my clients completely trust. My goal is to try to answer their questions before they ask, to take the fear and the stress away from them and let the home selling and buying process be as close to stress-free as possible!
We lead with our hearts! We represent our clients and truly want what is best for them and will guide them in that direction. We personalize each step of the process for each client making sure that we understand what’s important to them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I will never forget when my sister was visiting one time and she said that eating out in the Dallas area is an event, it’s not just about the food! We would eat at all the Texas specific restaurants, wineries, and go to local Texas attractions. I think I would need more than a week to make sure and show them everything I want to! San Antonio and Austin would definitely be among the stops including all my favorite areas in Dallas/Fort Worth. We would be eating the best barbecue ever at either Hard 8 Barbecue or Pecan Lodge, we would try all of my favorite Tex-Mex restaurants, also Texas specific restaurants like 1845 and Marty B’s and definitely go to some outdoor concerts! We would either go to a Cowboys football game or a Texas Ranger game, depending on the season when they were here! We could easily fill a week to two weeks showing off the great state we live in!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband and my dad were my biggest supporters and encouragers to get me started in real estate. Moving forward through my career, Keller Williams, the productivity coaches, and the training, education and resources provided by KW have been and continue to be exceptional.
