During my journey one thing that I try and continue to keep at the forefront of my decisions and direction is God & my Faith. Whenever a time comes where I feel like things may not be going the way “I” planned for them to go, I try and make sure to pray & meditate and place myself in alignment for what God has planned for my life. Firstly, if you decide to back out of something – that doesn’t make you a failure. Sometimes you have to listen to your heart, listen to your body and if you are running yourself Into the ground, I think it’s incredibly wise to take a step back and asses your next move. But with that being said, I think that you always have to be checking in with yourself when deciding whether to keep going or to give up. Do you love what you do even if it’s hard? Does it always seem hard or is this just a rough patch? Is there a way to pivot to make your day to day easier? I personally can talk myself in or out of anything but asking myself objective questions such as these can make my mountains seem more like speed bumps and give me the space to clear my head and keep going.
