Hi Dominique, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risk is such a major key in my life. I strive to take risk because I believe in the reward of my business and life! No risk no reward is one of my fave mottos.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Thrifted Feels One of a kind curated garments that express diversity, minimalism, and grace. Motto for the brand: – [ ] Stay Thrifted – [ ] Stay Sustainable – [ ] Stay YOU Mission: Thrifted Feels is all about sustainable fashion by focusing on the clothing that takes into account not only the environment, but the working conditions of the people involved with making the clothes! The goal for Thrifted Feels is to increase the value of local products, to prolong the lifecycle of materials, to increase the value of timeless garments, to reduce the amount of waste and to reduce the harm to the environment. About the owner: I’ve been thrifting since I was 12 years old with my aunt and grandma! We would hunt for treasures and timeless items! I believe then I knew my life would be involved with secondhand things! Making something new again, giving life to something old. I started this brand almost a year ago even though it took 3 years to get here, I’ve made it now into something I’ve never thought I would be! Inspiration: Founder inspiration comes from colors of all sorts, unisex clothes, loose fitting garments…Having all sizes and shapes and people wearing my garments.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have so many people supporting me and my business! I started with my business journey about 2 years ago! My allies are amazing as well! Two of my favorites photographers are both amazing women of color, that strives to embrace people of color in their work! Unice Fernandez @unicefrenandezphoto and Kaila Cumby @kaila_alex96 they’re amazing behind lens but even more amazing as my friend! Would love to give them a s/o! Another allies of mine is my good friend Caitlyn Lochan she and I have a brick & mortar together. Our love child is a sustainable fashion and local handmade shop! Her brand is called @tothemoonbus she has busses that’s she travels and sell local businesses throughout Texas!
