We had the good fortune of connecting with Desree Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Desree, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I created “LOST KIDS” in 2009 and brought it to life in 2019. I was in church one day and my preacher had this saying on the wall “I was once lost now I am found”. It used to bring me to tears but I realized it was showing me what “LOST KIDS” means to me over the years of going through trials and tribulations. I lost myself than I found myself walking into my purpose. So I created “LOST KIDS” with cartoon characters into a book to tell my story from different backgrounds also areas of my life ” I WAS ONCE LOST NOW I AM FOUND”Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What set me apart from others is not giving up I always kept God first and ask for direction. I presented myself in front of so many people doors continually got shut but, I heard this saying reading “Your Best Year Ever” by Michael Hyatt “Easy resources make for weak performances” and “Limited resources also builds resiliency and confidence” don’t give up when you get so many NO’S. I learned a lot of lessons along the way “LOST KIDS” is not just for adolescents it is also for Adults who lost their selves along the journey and who found their calling in the mist of the storm.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It so many but I would say Breakfast Brothers New Spot in Arlington, TX their food is amazing please stop take pictures on the famous wall and tell Big Rick I said HiShoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wanna shout out to my support system I have so many people to be thankful for along this journey and I Thank You for everything and to come especially LaNita Lars been a wonderful Mentor of getting me back on track and celebrating my WINS and many more Thank You so much for believing in me and showing me how to WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT!!!!
