Meet Christy Meaux

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christy Meaux and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Oddly enough, grief was the catalyst that ultimately led to my pivot from my mortgage career into full-time entrepreneurship. In 2023, I started the new year with one main goal in mind. I’d chosen my word-of-the-year and was ready to carry the excitement forward. I was ready to BLOOM!
I had recently come out of an extended period of loss and was living in active grief. Eight losses in a relatively short period of time left me questioning my identity, how I was showing up in the world, and who I wanted to be going forward. When the calendar rolled forward, I was ready to take action and brand myself. I didn’t know what all that meant or what the result would be, but I was open to receive what was coming.
Within 4 months I found myself working as a wholesale mortgage broker, launching a skincare brand with a team of powerful women, copywriting personal and professional bios, and was on my way to receiving a certificate in business strategy, which I would later go on to teach in said program. I found new networking groups, and in one of those cohorts I found my brand photographer. I’m proud to say I still get compliments on those photos, and they have been nothing short of magical in leading me to a more defined space professionally.
Later in 2023 my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and survived 11 long months navigating that journey. I had relocated in February 2024 to help her through her end of life, and it was not only a blessing in the quality time she and I were able to spend together, but it also brought me incredible clarity. I was reminded of what was important in life, and I began making decisions that allowed me to pursue those things with more intention.
A month after my mother’s passing, I launched Cohesive Confidence. Within a month I had a beta program with seven clients, and I resigned from mortgage November 1st.
A year later, I have lived through more grief, more loss, and another relocation. Cohesive Confidence has become even more precious to me, and I am proud to be in a position to help other women discover their own powerful presence in this world.

What should our readers know about your business?
Cohesive Confidence is more than a business and brand strategy space. It’s a place full of so much potential and possibility. Each woman I get to meet, whether it’s through networking, friendly introductions, or social media engagement receives a snippet of confidence with our connection.
Cohesive Confidence is designed as a container for women seeking more clarity in how they show up in their business, who want more in their current role or seeking a new one, who are multi-talented and need a cohesive brand to hold multiple services, or simply are ready for a brand and business refresh. The signature program inside Cohesive Confidence is a 12-week 1:1 container where we go through discovery, create the vision, and bring the vision to life, leveling up to a flow state. When you’re confident in who you are, where you’re going, and what you do, it’s a whole new level of cohesive confidence.
One of the unique elements I offer my clients in the coaching program, as well as independently is a virtual color analysis with brand connection. The color analysis with brand connection is ideal for those women who have never had a color analysis done, or perhaps they have and are ready to stand out above the competition, and create a cohesive and harmonious brand presence.
When you look good, you feel good. When you feel good you create more connection, more energy, and more money – with less time and less spending.
Overall, every program, service, workshop, and element at Cohesive Confidence is a beautiful experience for women ready to embrace who they are here and now without asking permission. She is ready to shine and live her most confident life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I moved to my current area in Tarrant County and have been intentional about exploring new places and trying new things. I’ve connected with several women in a local group on social media who are like me and looking for friends to explore with. One of my favorite discoveries has been hiking on Saturday mornings with a group at Eagle Mountain Lake Park. The terrain is mildly challenging, and the views are stunning. It’s the best way to wake up. After a good 2-hour hike, I love going to find new brunch spots in the north Fort Worth area.
For live music, I was able to see a friend play at The Post, and the acoustics in the room were fantastic. I have told several friends about it and am excited to return for more concerts there in the future.
I don’t have a favorite food place just yet. I’m having fun trying them out. I came up to DFW from the Austin / San Antonio area and there are so many new-to-me places here, so I’m always open for great recommendations!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When I was just stepping back in to in-person networking in late 2023, I found myself in a group coaching cohort in a neighboring town with women I had never met. It was a safe space to rediscover who I was and who I wanted to be. In that room was a woman who did life very different than me, yet was wise, curious, encouraging, and powerful. She and I connected very quickly.
Danie C. Muniz has been a steady and trustworthy friend through many of the trials I have endured over the past three years. She was the first person to call me a ‘coach’. She saw my potential and created space for my voice to come alive.
As I have refined and designed Cohesive Confidence, Danie has been there each step of the way. She is such a pivotal piece of my success, and I am incredibly lucky I can call her friend.
