We had the good fortune of connecting with Remilekun Adeagbo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Remilekun, how does your business help the community?
At Theorem Team, our impact goes beyond just building Shopify stores. We see e-commerce as a tool to create real opportunities, especially in regions like Africa where online trust and logistics have been a barrier. By helping entrepreneurs set up conversion-focused, scalable online businesses, we’re not just designing websites, we’re giving people the chance to reach global markets, generate sustainable income, and build brands that last.

We also invest time in education, sharing knowledge through workshops, mentorship, and resources so that small business owners don’t feel left behind in the digital shift. For me, social impact means using technology and creativity to open doors for others, and that’s the mission driving everything we do.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
“I run Theorem Team, a Certified Shopify Partner agency that helps brands design, optimize, and scale high-performing e-commerce stores. What sets us apart is our focus on not just building stores, but building stores that actually drive measurable results, whether that’s increasing sales, improving customer experience, or creating systems that make scaling easier.

What I’m most proud of is the impact we’ve been able to make: helping entrepreneurs and businesses in Africa and around the world grow their online presence and achieve financial independence. That, for me, is the real success.

Getting here wasn’t easy. Starting an agency and carving a space in the e-commerce landscape required learning fast, taking risks, and often failing before figuring out what works. I overcame challenges by staying persistent, surrounding myself with the right mentors and team, and being willing to constantly adapt.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that growth, both personally and professionally, comes from solving real problems for real people, not chasing awards or recognition. I want the world to know that Theorem Team isn’t just about e-commerce; it’s about empowering businesses and creators to thrive online, and that with the right guidance and tools, anyone can turn their vision into a reality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, I’d take them on a full taste of Lagos life. We’d start with breakfast at The Yellow Chilli, explore Lekki Arts & Crafts Market, chill at Elegushi Beach, and grab dinner at Nkoyo. For nights out, we’d hit Bogobiri House for live music or Sky Restaurant & Lounge for city views, a mix of culture, food, and fun all week!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely wouldn’t be here without the support and encouragement of the people around me. First, I’d give credit to my family, they’ve been the foundation that kept me going through the uncertainties of entrepreneurship.

I also have to recognize my team at Theorem Team. They’ve believed in the vision from day one and put in the work to make it real. Winning awards and being recognized as a Shopify Partner agency isn’t just my story, it’s ours.

On a broader level, I owe a lot to the mentors and communities I’ve connected with in the e-commerce and tech space. The knowledge shared in books, podcasts, and mastermind groups shaped my mindset and gave me the courage to think bigger.

So, my shoutout goes to that collective support system; family, team, mentors, and community, because success is never built in isolation
