We had the good fortune of connecting with Nichole Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nichole, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly, the thought process behind starting our counseling group really started with my mom, Anita Henrichson. She had been a counselor in Oklahoma for years, and when she moved to Texas in 2011, she wanted to build something here in Rockwall that could grow into more than just her private practice. Her heart was to create a place that she could one day pass down to her kids.
And what’s funny is, out of her seven children, three of the four of us ended up in the mental health field. I’m one of them. So, in a way, her vision really did take root in us. She’s always believed that mental health isn’t optional—it’s a necessity. And with almost thirty years of experience, whether it was private practice, speaking engagements, or even TV series, she’s seen how much people need access to good counseling.
For us, it wasn’t just about starting a business. It was about building a legacy of care for the community and for our family—something meaningful that could keep growing into the next generation.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business is where it is today because of the hard work and dedication of my mom, Anita Henrichson. She carried the original vision and laid the foundation for everything we’re building now. Has it been easy? Definitely not. There have been many struggles along the way—one of the biggest being learning not just how to grow, but how to sustain that growth in a healthy way.
What I’m most proud of is the vision Anita created. Her drive and determination truly outweigh anything I could put into words. I believe every business begins with a vision, and as the years go by, that vision naturally evolves. Some ideas succeed, others fail—but I see those failures as some of the greatest teachers. They’ve become the springboard for shaping our future and carving out the path we’re on today.
If there’s one lesson I’ve learned, it’s that as a business owner, you have to be just as present in the day-to-day as you are forward-thinking about the future. Balancing both is what keeps the vision alive and moving.
At the heart of our brand and story is a commitment to serving people through faith-based, life-giving counseling. We want the world to know that our practice isn’t just about running a business—it’s about carrying forward a legacy of care and creating lasting impact in the lives of the people and communities we serve.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting, we’d definitely start with food—because Dallas has some of the best spots around. I’d make sure we try a mix of local favorites and hidden gems throughout the city. From there, we’d spend time exploring some of the local shops. Honestly, some of the best places aren’t in the heart of the city, but tucked away in the suburbs—McKinney, Oak Cliff, and Bishop Arts all have amazing farmers markets and unique retail finds that give you a real taste of the community.
Coffee would be a big part of the trip too. Dallas is full of incredible coffee shops, and one of my personal favorites is Native Coffee in Addison. It has such a great vibe and makes for the perfect mid-day stop.
Of course, we’d balance out the food and shopping with some time outside. A walk on the Katy Trail is a must—it’s such a beautiful way to see the city. We’d also spend some time exploring NorthPark, not just for shopping, but because it has such a fun mix of art and culture. And before the week is over, we’d make sure to hunt down a true hole-in-the-wall restaurant—because those hidden spots always end up being the most memorable part of any trip.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a huge shoutout to my mom, Anita Henrichson. She’s the reason this counseling group even exists and the one who planted the vision for it in the first place. Her passion for people and her heart for creating a space where counseling could truly change lives has shaped everything we’re doing today.
I also want to recognize my family—because this really has been a family effort—and the community of Rockwall and the surrounding counties. The way the community has embraced us, supported us, and trusted us to walk alongside them has made all the difference.
And of course, I can’t forget our amazing counselors. They show up every day with so much dedication to the populations we serve. Their belief in the practice of helping others through faith-based, life-giving counseling is the heartbeat of what we do. We wouldn’t be where we are today without their support, their passion, and their willingness to carry this mission forward.
