We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacqueline Crider and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacqueline, what do you want your legacy to be?
want my legacy to be that I gave people permission to trust themselves again—especially around money, where doubt and shame tend to run deep. I want to be remembered as the woman who challenged traditional financial thinking, made it simple, empowering, and personal, and showed thousands of people—especially women—that they were never broken, just misinformed.

I want people to say, “She didn’t just teach me about money. She helped me rewrite my story, reclaim my power, and design a life that finally felt like mine.”

That’s the ripple I’m here to create. So there is lasting impact that truly touches the world. Financial freedom on your terms, not someone else’s rules.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Let’s be honest: most financial advice out there feels rigid, outdated, and guilt-driven. It’s built around formulas and fear—not people. I created PBJ Mortgage and Financial Mastery Simplified to flip that script.

I work with individuals—especially those who’ve done all the “right” things on paper but still feel stuck, overwhelmed, or behind when it comes to their finances. These are smart, hard-working people who are tired of being told they’re “bad with money” just because the old systems never fit their lives.

What sets us apart? We don’t just hand out cookie-cutter advice—we teach you how to trust your own financial instincts, understand your unique money patterns, and build systems that actually feel aligned, simple, and sustainable.

Was it easy getting here? Not even close. My path included massive pivots, personal loss, burnout, and rebuilding more than once. I launched this business in the middle of a market crash, NICU stays, team changes, and deep financial uncertainty. But every one of those moments taught me that resilience, clarity, and aligned action beat hustle and spreadsheets any day.

Today, I’m proud to have helped thousands of people achieve homeownership and financial clarity—and I’m on a mission to empower 100,000 more through education that blends financial strategy with mindset, neuroscience, and personal choice.

Here’s what I want the world to know:
You’re not behind. You’re not broken. And you don’t need to follow someone else’s formula to be successful.
You just need the tools, support, and permission to do money in a way that actually works for you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit DFW, we wouldn’t just “hang out.” We’d reset, reconnect, and live fully—with unforgettable meals, meaningful spaces, and deep conversations that go beyond the typical tourist stops. Here’s how we’d do it:

Day 1: Welcome to the Good Life (Plano Style)
Lunch at Kenny’s Burgers—jalapeño bacon burger and truffle fries to kick things off right.

Walk it off at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve—perfect for clearing your head and soaking in nature.

Dinner at North Italia at Legacy West with the fountains setting the scene.

Optional retail therapy at The Shops at Legacy or Legacy West.

Day 2: McKinney Magic + Boutique Therapy
Coffee and a morning stroll through Downtown McKinney.

Boutique-hopping at Sharla’s and Apple Blvd—local gems that make retail feel like self-care.

Lunch at Cadillac Pizza Pub or brunch at Layered.

Dinner at Casa Mama’s—laid-back Tex-Mex that hits the spot every time.

Day 3: Frisco Flavor + Feel-Good Flow
Morning coffee at La Finca or Summer Moon to start the day right.

Quick mindset walk and vision casting around The Star in Frisco.

Lunch at Haywire—grab a seat on the rooftop if the weather’s playing nice.

Afternoon spa treatment or facial to reset and refuel.

Optional live music or a low-key evening with great wine and conversation.

Day 4: Uptown Energy + Dallas Culture Day
Brunch at The Henry and rooftop views that bring the city energy to life.

Explore the Dallas Museum of Art or unwind at Klyde Warren Park.

Dinner at Terry Black’s BBQ in Deep Ellum for the full Texas experience.

If the night calls for it—Velvet Taco for late-night flavor bombs.

Day 5: Slow Down + Soul-Up
A slow morning with coffee and gratitude journaling.

Nature walk at Erwin Park or back to Arbor Hills to reflect and recharge.

Goal-mapping and mindset chat over lunch at Ascension Coffee.

Evening in with wine, cozy conversation, and big life ideas.

Day 6: Lake Vibes + Legacy Nights
Spend the morning at Little Elm Beach with a journal, playlist, and no agenda.

Lunch at Tender Smokehouse—BBQ right by the lake, no need to overthink it.

Head back to Legacy West for dinner at Toulouse—don’t skip the foie gras.

Wrap the night with drinks at Earls Kitchen + Bar and toast to life, growth, and the beauty of slowing down.

Day 7: Soulful Sunday Send-Off
Brunch tacos at Velvet Taco—again, yes, it’s that good.

Take a peaceful walk at White Rock Lake or your favorite local trail.

Reflect, journal, and set intentions for what’s next.

Final dinner, hugs, and the promise to always make space for this kind of reset.

This isn’t just a week in Dallas—it’s a reminder of what life feels like when you create space to breathe, connect, and live aligned. Whether you come for the food, the fun, or the clarity, you’ll leave more rooted, more lit up, and more in tune with yourself.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely—because no rise is ever truly solo.

My shoutout goes to every woman who’s ever felt like she was “too much” for the traditional rules but showed up anyway. The ones who dared to trust their gut, rewrite the script, and build something that actually felt right.

But I wouldn’t be here without some powerful women who poured belief into me when I needed it most.

Ursula Mentjes told me I had a voice—and more importantly, that I needed to use it. She saw something in me before I fully did, and gave me the push to own it.
Cathy Heller modeled what it looks like to create success by leaning into intuition, purpose, and unapologetic truth.
Marley Jaxx taught me how to elevate my message and brand with clarity and impact.
Eileen McDonald reminded me that fierce compassion and high-level leadership can—and should—go hand in hand.

So this shoutout is for them… and for every woman who’s ever dared to do it differently. You’re why I do what I do. And I’ll spend my life paying it forward.
