Meet DeAnna McGee | Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with DeAnna McGee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi DeAnna, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
“One thing most people don’t realize about the photo booth industry is just how much goes into creating high-quality images. It’s not just a camera on a tripod with a printer — at least not if you’re doing it right. We use professional-grade Canon cameras to ensure every photo is crisp, vibrant, and print-worthy. The difference in image quality between a iPad and a DSLR like ours is night and day. We’re essentially bringing a mini portrait studio to your event, so guests walk away with images that look like they came out of a professional photoshoot.”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
“My career has been anything but conventional — and that’s what makes it so special. For over a decade, I worked in healthcare network contracting, developing deep experience in negotiations, relationship management, and strategic planning. I’ve led major initiatives, built networks from the ground up, and navigated some of the most complex corners of the managed care industry. But despite the stability and success, I always had a creative side yearning to be expressed.
That’s what led us to launch our own photo booth company. I wanted to create something joyful, something memorable — a space where people could let loose and capture their happiest moments. I took the professionalism, attention to detail, and high standards I developed in my corporate career and applied them to our business. We invested in high-quality equipment, including a Canon camera that produces studio-grade images, and built a brand centered around excellence and experience.
Was it easy? Not at all. Transitioning from a corporate environment to entrepreneurship was full of challenges — from learning the ropes of marketing and event logistics to building my clientele from scratch. But I leaned on my strengths: clear communication, relationship-building, and a deep belief that quality always wins.
What sets u apart is the care we put into every aspect of our service. We’re not just setting up a camera — We’re curating an experience. I’m most proud of the fact that my photo booths don’t just take photos — they help create memories that people treasure. If there’s one thing I want people to know about my story, it’s that your background doesn’t limit you — it empowers you. I took a sharp turn in my career, and it led me exactly where I was meant to be.”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
“If my best friend was visiting Dallas for a week, I’d make sure they got the full Dallas experience — a mix of culture, food, fun, and a little luxury! Here’s how I’d show them around:
Day 1: Welcome to Dallas!
We’d kick things off with brunch at Yolk or The Henry — great food and even better vibes. Then, we’d take a stroll through Klyde Warren Park, and maybe hit up the Dallas Museum of Art right next door. For dinner, I’d book us a spot at Nick & Sam’s — because who doesn’t love a great steak and a little scene?
Day 2: Exploring Deep Ellum
We’d spend the day in Deep Ellum, known for its street art, live music, and cool shops. We’d grab tacos at Revolver Taco Lounge, check out some murals, and maybe even hit a rooftop bar like HIDE for cocktails. If there’s a show at The Factory or Trees, we’re going!
Day 3: Luxury & Leisure
Time for a spa day! We’d head to Hiatus Spa + Retreat, then lunch and shopping at Highland Park Village. That night, it’s dinner at The Monarch for skyline views and a little glam.
Day 4: Arts & Culture
We’d explore Bishop Arts District, one of my favorite neighborhoods — charming, walkable, and full of personality. Lunch at Lucia or Oddfellows, then boutique hopping. At night, we’d catch a show at the Winspear Opera House or a performance at The Majestic.
Day 5: Photo Ops & Good Eats
Of course, we’d do a little photo shoot — I’d set up my luxury photo booth for some high-quality, fun shots! Then we’d hit Legacy West or The Star in Frisco for a little upscale food and nightlife. Dinner at Haywire or Sixty Vines would be the move.
Day 6: Nature & Nostalgia
We’d take a break with a walk around White Rock Lake or visit the Dallas Arboretum. Later, a trip to Pecan Lodge for some of the best BBQ in the city. If we’re feeling nostalgic, we could hit Punch Bowl Social or even go skating at Galleria Dallas.
Day 7: Brunch & Goodbyes
We’d wrap the week with brunch at Bread Winners Café, maybe squeeze in a visit to The Sixth Floor Museum if they’re into history, and take a slow afternoon to reflect before heading to the airport.
Dallas has this beautiful mix of Southern charm, big-city sparkle, and hidden gems. No matter what you’re into — art, music, food, or just good vibes — there’s something here for everyone.”

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
“I definitely want to shout-out my husband as he is the muscle and set designer behind this brand. He’s a “go with the flow” type of person and ensures my vision comes to light!”
