We had the good fortune of connecting with Bronson Schwartz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bronson, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Honestly, just staying consistent and putting in the work every single day—even when I didn’t feel like it. Whether it’s getting in the studio, playing shows, organizing events, networking, handling social media or marketing, I’ve been grinding behind the scenes. One thing I’ve learned that’s helped me push through the slow seasons is this: opportunities come in waves. Don’t get discouraged if it feels like nothing’s “happening” right now. Keep building your craft and your brand, because the momentum always comes back around. At the end of the day, it’s been a mix of passion, persistence, and surrounding myself with people who have the same mindset.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My music blends trap, bass, funk and hip-hop influences—it’s high energy, with emotion and personality behind it. I think what sets me apart is that I’m not trying to follow trends. I’m focused on creating a sound and vibe that feels like me and speaks to people who connect with that energy.

Getting here was anything but easy. I’ve dealt with self-doubt, financial strain, and the pressure to conform to what’s “popular.” But I learned to use those struggles as fuel. Throwing my own shows taught me the business side. Producing constantly, even through burnout, sharpened my creative instincts. Going out to local shows to network and support other artists, even with having social anxiety, pushed me out of my shell.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come and even more excited for what’s ahead. This isn’t just a hobby or a phase—it’s a vision I’ve been building from the ground up with heart, hustle, and purpose. I hope my journey shows others that if you stay true to yourself, keep putting in the work, and trust the process, you can turn your passion into something real and lasting.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If they came to visit, I’d want to give them a real taste of the underground and the culture here. A couple of food places would be Whataburger (if traveling from out of area), as well as Terry Blacks BBQ. At night, we’d catch sets at venues like The War Room, Green Elephant, and Stereo Live maybe a warehouse party, or a bar that books EDM bass acts. The goal wouldn’t just be to show them places—it’d be to introduce them to the people and culture that make this scene special. That’s what makes it unforgettable.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are definitely a few people and communities that deserve credit. My close friends, family, and DJ homies have had my back and pushed me since day one, even when the path wasn’t clear. The local underground EDM scene gave me my first real opportunities to prove myself—without them, I might still be making beats in my bedroom that no one heard. Shoutout to the promoters who booked me while I was still developing my sound, and to the artists who took time to collaborate in the studio. Even books like The Creative Act: A Way of Being helped me better understand how to approach creativity with intention and discipline.
