Giving my business to the Lord. I had heard other entrepreneurs say phrases along the lines of, “make God your CEO.” I didn’t fully understand that until I built my business. For me, that looks like tithing, praying over my clients and their wedding days, and bringing joy to each session or wedding I am graced to be a part of. Music isn’t actually my career, and I’m really glad it’s not actually. Even at the highest level it’s such a hustle, always having to be on, grinding. I just want to create. I was fortunate enough to have a band that recorded in a big studio when I was quite young and from that moment on it was all I wanted to do.
