Hi Daysi, how do you think about risk?
Becoming a suite owner right after graduating from hair school, with no prior experience, was a leap of faith.
It has profoundly shaped both my life and career. I went from navigating the challenges of running my own suite to expanding into a full-fledged salon owner within three years.

My passion for the beauty industry went beyond just styling hair; I wanted to create a space where another stylist can strive. The decision to transition from a suite owner to a salon owner was driven by a desire to expand my brand, create jobs, and provide a supportive environment for other beauty professionals.

Building my salon was about more than just business growth – it was about fostering a Latino/Hispanic Community. Providing education and mentorship, sharing the knowledge and passion that fueled my journey. Creating opportunities for others to succeed has been one of the most rewarding aspects of this path.

Today, my salon stands as a testament to the risks and hard work invested.
It’s a place where creativity flourishes, where clients feel valued, and where every stylist can grow and excel. The journey from a fresh graduate with no experience to a successful salon owner has been challenging, but it’s also been incredibly fulfilling.

Taking that initial risk has not only shaped my career but also allowed me to make a meaningful impact on others, it’s a reminder that sometimes, the biggest leap lead to the most extraordinary destinations.
