Hi Nhi, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting my beauty business was driven by a desire for independence, efficiency, and self-accountability. I wanted to control my professional destiny, streamline operations without needing approval from higher-ups, and hold myself accountable for success. My passion for the beauty industry and vision for innovation fueled my determination to fill market gaps with unique cosmetic solutions. This venture not only promised financial independence but also fostered significant personal growth, allowing me to align my work with my values and continuously adapt to the demands of my industry.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since my move to Dallas in January 2024, I’ve been captivated by its lively neighborhoods. I’ve particularly relished leisurely walks in Klyde Warren Park (preferably during quieter times), sampling the diverse array of food trucks, and exploring cultural gems like the Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher Sculpture Center. A serene Sunday morning routine for me involves practicing yoga at Jungle – Studio Fitness, indulging in a nourishing breakfast at Tribal All Day Cafe, and browsing the eclectic offerings of vendors at Bishop Bazaar in the Bishop Arts District. Exploring the art galleries and studios in the Design District, especially the contemporary exhibitions at Dallas Contemporary, is also highly recommended.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! If I had to dedicate my shoutout to one person who has been instrumental in my journey, it would undoubtedly be my mother. Her unwavering support, boundless love, and relentless encouragement have been the foundation of my success. From the earliest days, she instilled in me the values of perseverance, hard work, and compassion.

My mother has always been my greatest cheerleader, celebrating my triumphs and comforting me through my setbacks. She taught me the importance of resilience and the power of a positive mindset. Her sacrifices and dedication have provided me with the opportunities I have today, and her wisdom continues to guide me.
