Meet Brandon Rose | Chief Marketing Officer

Hi Brandon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey by founding RoseGold Apparel while I was still a sophomore at the University of Alabama. Back then, I faced the challenge of limited resources for marketing, which led me to delve into the world of organic digital marketing techniques, website development, SEO, and more, all self-taught.

Following my graduation, I ventured to Miami and assumed the role of VP of Operations for a small business, where I helped achieve 600%+ revenue growth within under one year. This success garnered the attention of friends and referrals who sought my assistance with their own businesses, including drop-shipping ventures, social media management, and more. As the demand rapidly increased, I found myself operating at full capacity.

This lead to The Rose Group and where we are today. In 2016, I established a close relationship with the founder of an international marketing agency, and now years later we have partnered to lay the groundwork for The Rose Group Marketing (TRG), enabling us to handle more work, enhance our service quality, and establish a solid foundation for scalability.

What truly fascinates me about owning my own business is the boundless opportunity for self-growth and the ability to take full responsibility for my destiny. The journey has honed my discipline, organizational skills, and proficiency in various domains, not only elevating my business but also transforming me as an individual. While I may invest more hours than a traditional 40-hour work week, I genuinely relish the work I do, knowing that I am making a meaningful impact to others, evolving as a person, honing my leadership skills, and continuously growing as a man.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets TRG Marketing apart is our unwavering commitment to communication and transparency. As a business owner myself, I’ve been in the shoes of countless entrepreneurs who are continuously pitched for marketing assistance. In the past, I’ve hired several agencies that promised the world but ultimately underdelivered. I often found myself in the dark about where my investment was going and the actual changes being made to my campaigns.

That’s why at The Rose Group, we prioritize open and honest communication. We believe that every business owner’s company is their ‘baby,’ and we make sure they’re informed about every detail. We maintain weekly communication, provide consistent KPI reports, and ensure our clients have a clear understanding of the strategies in play. Our mission is to empower them to make the best decisions for their business. It hasn’t been an easy road; challenges have included scaling our team and venturing into new industries. Transitioning from a creative and technical role to a leadership and management role has been a valuable learning experience for me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Dallas is a great city with many fun spots. I enjoy being outdoors and active, as well as some nice food! I would recommend the Frisco PGA 10 hole par 3 course for some outdoor friendly fun, and then Uchi Ba downtown for dinner. I love the ambiance as well as the menu!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The entrepreneurial journey is unforgiving, strenuous, and uncertain. My family is the bedrock of my journey, and they deserve an immense shoutout for their unwavering support. Through every twist and turn, my family has been there, celebrating the highs and providing a steady hand during the lows. Their belief in me has been an anchor, and their encouragement has been the wind beneath my wings. From late nights to early mornings, they’ve stood by me through thick and thin. I owe so much of my success to their love, guidance, and unwavering faith in my endeavors. Their presence in my life has been a constant source of strength, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
