We had the good fortune of connecting with Kimber Black and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kimber, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
We work with local community organizations to provide their staff a comfortable and efficient place to gather, and conduct business, free of charge.
Our facility offers a full kitchen to prepare meals, a restroom and break space to cover all of their needs during their work session.
We also include audio visual equipment or extra break out space to cover all of their meeting needs.
By aligning our business with the needs of the community organizations, we solidify our position as a go-to venue for all endeavors.
What should our readers know about your business?
We are a wedding and event venue that offers two unique settings, a romantic garden, and an Uber Chic country barn. Both venues offer a full kitchen, restrooms, bridal suites, indoor/outdoor dining, dance floor equipped with DJ, bandstand, ample parking,, barbecue pit and smokers for an all inclusive experience.
We are excited to announce that we are on the verge of obtaining our TABC Mixed Beverage Permit. This permit will elevate our clients experience by allowing our staff to provide their events with servers and refreshments, This means one less thing for the client to worry about.
As we grow in the event industry, we see where an all inclusive package is crucial for the customer to have an enjoyable experience. We are proud of our ability to be flexible and change with our clients needs to produce a wonderful outcome on their behalf.
Our family is all hands on deck when it comes to providing a quality event. At the completion of each event we debrief in order to stay on top of changes and allow ourselves to focus on how we can improve for the next event.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since we live in Weatherford, we would head out to Mineral Wells and check out the Crazy Water Hotel and Store! We would have lunch at The marketplace or one of the cute little restaurants that have recently opened in that area. While in Weatherford, we would enjoy a burger at Teskeys Cafe after shopping their western store! Or, If we weren’t in the mood for burgers we could enjoy tacos or nachos at The Cantina on the square!
If time allowed, we would stroll the Stockyards in Fort Worth and dine at The Drover or Risky’s Steak House while taking in the. Cultural history of Exchange Way!
If my more modern friends come to visit, we could tour the Perot museum, visit the aquarium or zoo, or take in the historical tour where JFK was assassinated. After strolling, shopping and taking in the sites we could eat dinner at The Rustic in downtown Dallas or any of the amazing restaurants spread out over the city.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our Operations Manager, Lauren Kellison is the person behind the scenes that polishes our marketing materials, organizes staff and payroll and keeps our website current. She follows through on the endless projects that fall on her desk. She is thorough and competent.
And most importantly, she is funny, smart and delightful to work with!
