Meet Eddie Wiewel | Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eddie Wiewel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eddie, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I’m an avid reader and love studying the legends of various industries- Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Tim Grover, Tom Hopkins and Ray Dalio to name a few.
However, when my business hit its first true test in Q3 of last year, when the Fed really began increasing rate hikes, I relied on a very famous speech by Theodore Roosevelt.
“The Man in the Arena” by Roosevelt exemplifies so much of what being a winner in any venture, personally or professionally is all about to me.
“The man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; Who strives valiantly; Who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming.”
This excerpt from Roosevelt’s famous speech exemplifies so much of what being an entrepreneur is about: chasing a vision and engaging in your creativity, but most importantly putting these notions into motion and taking action! It also displays the importance of learning and refining relentlessly and daily, while attempting to perfect your product- no matter what it might be.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What excites me about the future of the real estate industry is the technology that is continuing to evolve and be more readily available to us.
There are new applications and AI opportunities that are continuing to mitigate human error in terms of efficiency and projections, truly bettering the customer experience every single day!
This coupled with training on negotiations and customer service allows agents and brokerages to truly create a superior product and help our clients WIN in achieving their real estate goals like never before!
Personally, I believe these variables blended together create an omnichannel real estate business. Being able to reach our clients through human interaction, social media, applications and other digital platforms seamlessly is how I visualize continuing to build and grow the business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
DFW has so many unique and incredible spots!
Being a very experiential person, I would want to showcase different areas to them for sure. Irving/Las Colinas would be my starting point. With incredible centrality to DFW, it offers superior entertainment, canals and places to enjoy. I’d recommend Monaco for cocktails and Ginger Man for an experiential pub!
Next, we would visit Dallas, viewing areas such as Victory Park, Deep Ellum and Uptown! Too many delectable places to name, however Pecan Lodge for BBQ would be a must!
Before visiting Fort Worth, I would ensure they get to see where DFW is really expanding- further north! Showcasing Grandscape and the newly-developed Portillo’s in the Lewisville area would guarantee they aren’t hungry and then we would finish off with Perry’s Steakhouse in Frisco.
No DFW trip would be complete without a visit to The Stockyards in Fort Worth! I would visit Cattleman’s for an impressive ribeye steak and Old Fashioned cocktail!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this one to our broker and owner of Rohter & Company- Reev Rohter.
When I met Reev, I was transitioning out of my last salaried position with a Commercial Real Estate Firm. Knowing what I wanted in terms of being an entrepreneur was clarity that I achieved on my own, but learning how to get there was very much from Reev positioning me correctly and taking time to teach me the business.
His wisdom, generosity and constant feedback have helped me grow as a Realtor, entrepreneur and person. While the real estate industry is flooded with “flash” and “look at me,” Reev has kept me focused on growing our business and innovating it in ways that translate to serving our customers in the best ways possible.
Thanks, Reev!
