We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Albiter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brian, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
Albiter: Being surrounded by true joy. The reason I say joy is because I have two careers, one orchestrating a menswear lifestyle brand on social media and the other is being a leasing professional. In both career paths I am blessed to be surrounded by individuals that are passionate about what they do, for example in the menswear lifestyle arena I have my wife Vanessa Albiter who enjoys an artistic photography niche, Igee Okafor who radiates the essence of menswear fashion. Meanwhile, as a leasing professional I am blessed to be surrounded by Necole Steward and the Quarterra team who truly find joy in the field of property management.
In both roles what I want people to do is be inspired to go after whatever it is they want, and to be fulfilled. Overall, being inspired by people who find joy in what they do – transpired into what I do in my day to day.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Menswear Lifestyle/Content Creator: My end goal is to have a menswear and lifestyle brand. I’m deeply inspired by people like Ralph Lauren & SuitSupply; individuals who begin with a niche and then are overrun by creativity and the opportunity to accomplish other things under the same brand. Even with Ralph Luaren, it’s all about sending a message that inspires men to be themselves. SuitSupply encourages men to move through their day with ease and elegance, giving the Italian-like comfort in suits. Overall, It’s fashion, but they’re also able to explore other parts of their passion, whether its Suits for the office to Skiing in Aspen or Polo matches on the weekend. If I can accomplish all those goals, then I will be truly joyful.
Leasing Professional: My other passion is civil engineering/architecture development. Property management is an excited field to be in, especially in Texas with the amount of new multifamily, commercial and developments. At the pace Dallas is growing, I am looking forward to being part of the growth and watching Dallas downtown turn into a small NYC in the coming years.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would have to visit my great friend Adnan-Ed Shaikh in Highland Park Village where he has his boutique called Hadleighs.
For dinner I strongly recommend The Monarch in the Thompson Hotel, also Chas Martin and the Duro Hospitality have outstanding duo of The Charles and Sempre Sister.
For drinks hands down Catbird & Bar Eden.
Coffee shop: All time favorite, Xaman Café.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are two individuals that inspired me in what I do:
First: My wife – with her unique vision in photography, editing skills, and her creative approach to the smallest of details when creating content for our social media to the way she carries herself, in my eyes she is the nucleus of elegance. Vane Albiter, is my support behind my concept of menswear lifestyle.
Second: Necole Steward & Quarterra Team – Necole, has been an inspiration and the best teacher I could ask for. Her attention to detail from dressing well, to the way she walks, communicates and the energy she carries, without a doubt she has and will continue to be the greatest mentor.
