We had the good fortune of connecting with Alysha Boles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alysha, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the focus of my team is ensuring that our clients receive advice and guidance that ensure the smartest use of their money along with an empowered understanding of loan options and costs. Whether a client wants to explore options for buying immediately, or long term I am happy to partner with them and strategize the best plan. Taking the time to ensure that a client is fully qualified, and no short cuts are taken up front can significantly reduce the risk and stress of the mortgage experience. There are many options available and ensuring that clients are not treated like a cookie cutter transaction or unnecessary money spent just to obtain a flashy rate.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
It is amazing how at one point in your life you look back and realize how things that seemed completely unrelated come together in perfect complement to propel you forward. Before I was even 18 yrs old I fell in love with finance, followed by Real Estate followed by business leadership and mentoring. All at unrelated times on my path and now all of those passions culminate into my role as a Mortgage Guide and Debt Strategist. I lived and learned along the way challenges and successes that I am able to use to empower clients with one of, if not the largest purchase of their life.

All too often in my industry it is about the “job”, or the “paycheck” and how quickly that can be done. Large call centers that just constantly call and source lead after lead so they can send them down the loan line using scripts and objection strategies. Most of the time people don’t even realize that it does not have to be that way. There are 100’s of incredible mortgage professionals that lead from a service and people over profits mentality. I am grateful to be one of them. It is never about just getting a loan, it is about getting the right loan, guidance and education for them as an individual.

I spent many years learning and working to position myself in such a way that clients did not have to choose between service and cost. I do not believe the best service has to be the most expensive, nor that the best rate and lowest cost comes from bargain basement websites and call centers. Those needing to obtain a mortgage loan can have the best of both worlds. I researched lending channels and tried different companies. There was a year in which I faced the biggest challenges in the industry that almost cost me my career. It did cost me most of my partners. Experiencing those challenges gave me clarity in creating an incredible experience with partners and support that complement the entire process.

My passion is helping people reach their goals. It is never just business; it is personal business. Building upon trust and transparency, I truly make everyone in the transaction my partner. There is no way to succeed without helping others get what they want first and ensuring that buyers, sellers, and agents are top priority. To be able to utilize over 20 years of business, marketing, construction, finance, and general life experience to proactively and personally serve is my honor with everyone I am blessed to partner with.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Once cannot simply just visit the DFW area, you have to “experience’ it. From Dallas to Fort Worth, the energy and character is so unique and worthwhile. I love mixing learning and fun in all I do, even mortgage lending surprisingly. Kicking off Texas in style, start by visiting The Star. With the most expensive tour experience being only $60, there is no reason not to be the Ultimate Fan. Walk the halls and find the best quotes and motivation that creates the Dallas Cowboy culture. Keeping to the Dallas side, but changing it up the next day with a visit to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Depending on the time of year perhaps you can explore the larges gourde and pumpkin patch I have ever seen, or the 12 days of Christmas and the magic of the holiday’s- no matter the time of year there will be something special to see. Next up is a day downtown taking in the depth of John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, tour the book depository, visit the Tolerance Center. With such a heavy day, it is a good time to take in a little night scene. I would say you cannot go wrong with putting Uptown on your list, but trust me- there is no shortage of places to go whether it be a show, a concert, or special event something is always happening.

Switching gears it is time to head towards Fort Worth. Many people don’t realize the distance between the two and also the character. My plan include stopping in Grapevine and catching a ride on the Historic Grapevine Railroad with your stop being The Stockyards. Plan your tickets for an overnight and stay at The Drover… you will not be disappointed! Eat the best steak, watch the cattle drive, shop, sit on a long horn… watch out they are real so don’t try to stick a quarter in it 😉 Trust me, it almost happened! Stop by Maverick’s for the best hat shaping, custom boots, and amazing western wear. If you are lucky you may be able to explore the secrets of the building that don’t happen on the ground floor,

The final days would be a debate between The Fort Worth Zoo, a Texas Rangers game, Six Flags… or an adventure out of town to the McDonald Observatory to enjoy the most amazing night skies. Make sure to check the schedule to ensure there is a Star Party on the schedule. There is an endless amount of adventure in DFW, that is why weeks of visiting can easily turn into years of living.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am blessed to have a large circle of support in my industry between Brokers and AIME. I would also like to thank my Next Level LO family for all they pour into me over the last several years that continue to propel me forward in my goal to serve and be the best for my partners and clients.
