We had the good fortune of connecting with Katrina Caldwell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Katrina, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?

Yes, absolutely! Admin Mobile was developed amid the unprecedented pandemic. There grew a desperate need for individuals to have their estate planning and other life-altering documents like real estate transactions signed and notarized.

We feel it is extremely important to cater to busy professionals, travelers, incarcerated signers, and those who are sick and shut-in.  We wanted to focus on permitting notary services any time of the day without forfeiting the level of quality our clients.

Since the pandemic, the world has advanced technologically which has afforded Admin Mobile to expand its positivity globally with remote online notary services.

We’ve helped many individuals, families, and corporations close mortgage transactions during the real estate boom. We have been able to assist with home purchases and sales, refinances, HELOCs, loan modifications, reverse mortgages and estate plans. It is so gratifying helping families close their mortgage transactions and watch our community grow.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Admin Mobile is an administrative office specializing in mobile and online notary services nationwide. We also offer apostille services that require documents to be authenticated before they are accepted internationally. We take pride in ensuring security and confidentiality for personal and business affairs involving critical documents.

What sets us apart from many is that we are a complete admin office on wheels. We provide screened witnesses as well as confident and competent notary professionals who print, scan, notarize, and ship critical documents both domestically and internationally.

Our mission is to deter fraud, coercion, and identity theft by properly identifying persons and witnessing signatures. Because mortgage and deed fraud is at an all time high, we do our due diligence in identifying and keeping accurate records of appointments. We have added extra technologies to help foster healthy cyber security management and implemented protocols to keep our clients’ documents safe both online and offline. We ultimately take the “work” out of paperwork, granting our clients the opportunity to focus on other pertinent matters all while staying protected.

What have you been most proud of during your journey?

What I am most proud of is how I conquered the hardest part of an entrepreneurial journey, getting started! It has been a wild rollercoaster but, I love it here!
I am excited about my continued growth on a personal and business level. I’ve always been a studious woman but now every day is a lesson! And guess what, I am a sponge soaking it all in! I am also excited about meeting countless admirable new people and learning about their experiences.

How did you get to where you are today? And, what have you learned and implemented?

Well, after a rapidly successful career in law enforcement, I received all the signs that it was time to move. I’ll be honest, being in an entrepreneurial space has never been on my “to-do” list. It’s a space where God truly placed me. I am a lifetime learner and extremely grateful for the various opportunities.

It has not been an easy feat. It’s a new caliber of the word “work.” It’s most definitely not for the weak or closed-minded. I find myself overcoming many challenges through prayer and calling upon my small village of colleagues, mentors, and friends. It’s been extremely necessary to be surrounded by like-minded individuals. People who can relate to my obstacles, lend a listening ear, and provide strategies have been the recipe for my conquering.

Here are some shared lessons:
When you are in business, you are the command staff. You will wear all the hats in your business and make 500 decisions a day. You’ll need capital to purchase pertinent items that will help your business grow. And, it’ll be up to you to find unique ways to gain capital.

Everybody will be a “guru” and you will find it hard to sift out who can offer help! Your education and ” investing” in yourself have to go far beyond “YouTube” University. You have to stay diligent in your learning by reading books and placing yourself in new environments to learn from different people. You must have a mentor! Cling on to someone who has been where you want to go! It’s super important. Hire the people who are experts where your weaknesses lie. Don’t be blinded by what others are doing. Focus on your business and goals.

Obstacles are endless lessons in business! Keep going and keep growing!
What I’d like the world to know about me is that I’ve taken the skillset and foundation developed from all of my roles in my law enforcement capacities and transferred them to the pillars of my business. I pride myself in being able to now protect and serve the community in a different capacity. White-collar, non-violent crimes need to be combatted just as heavily as blue-collar/violent crimes. My commitment to the public is to continue to maintain a service heart and render quality professional notary services with my business, Admin Mobile.

I’m going so far in my marathon and I’m taking others along for the ride! There are so many people to give thanks to for diving into this journey with me.

First, I’d like to thank God for giving me the courage and tenacity to be unique in creating a life tailored for me.
